Rice cooker. Use it to make oatmeal- put the stuff in when you get up, do your morning chores, and when you’re done it’s there waiting perfectly cooked.
A real live espresso machine that steams milk. It was the best return on investment ever. We both make amazing lattes, Americanos, hot chocolate etc every morning. Way less calories than Starbucks, can use organic milk, and save $9/day (so it was only a 2 month payback!)

A Moyer Diebel commercial under the counter dishwasher.
Currently budgeting for a stand up freezer. I do a lot of meal prep and it makes it easy to slide pre made meals in rather than piling them up top of each other.

And an espresso machine. Literally my favourite item in my home, lol.

pinkprincess88 : Unlimited wi-fi 🙂 No family arguments over data or unexpectedly ginormous bills
No matter your budget, a good quality vacuum cleaner. Even if you have to pinch pennies to get a decent one, it will be worth it in the long run. Cheap ones don’t pick up as well and you’ll spend more replacing cheap ones than investing in a good one.
Panini maker, we use ours all the time. Ditto slow cooker. And a BBQ, we BBQ year round despite the weather 🙂

Another vote for a robot vac. We have an off-brand but it works fantastic. I also love my programmable slow cooker.

Electric wine opener and a lemon squeezer thingy (I make lemon water every morning!). Life changing. LOL.

Another vote for the Roomba vac! Love it! And the sous vide – best chicken and steak I’ve ever had has come out of it!

Wow. I feel like I need to buy a roomba after reading all these posts.
We just installed a closet system in our bedroom closet and it is the most amazing thing ever. I want one for every closet now! It really helps utilize all the space (about half our closet was going unused). I feel so much more organized now. We are going to get a smaller one for our entryway closet next.

I totally went through this whole thread and added everything i didnt already have to my wishlist online.
I also love my insta pot. I feel like an idiot for arguing with Fiance that we didnt need one. Frozen chicken to complete meal in under 30 minutes is the best thing ever.
Amazon dot + stereo receiver with bluetooth. I can ask alexa from the kitchen to read me recipes and play all my favorite tunes on the nice sound system while my hands are busy cooking and cleaning and playing with kids and doggos.
Not sure if this counts, but this thing + carabiner for dog walks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blue-Portable-Pet-Water-Dispensing-Bottle-500ml-for-Dogs-Cats-Walking-Hiking-/131934244063
If salads are a staple around your house you need a lettuce knife. It makes iceburg lettuce not turn brown as fast.

Best things we’ve bought: Gladiator tracks for the garage (you can hang up all of your rakes, shovels, even heavier items like a pressure washer); Spicy Shelf + plastic lazy susan thing from Bed, Bath and Beyond for my spice cabinet…it’s crazy how much more you can fit and you can actually see it all; and a stud finder that also locates electrical wires. Check every time you are going to put anything in the wall, even a picture! After reading this, I really want an Instant Pot and a Roomba. 🙂
Also, I have to share two tips that I have learned that are so simple but I didn’t know them until about a year ago and it has helped a lot. First, your salad/greens stay fresh SO much longer if you transfer them to an airtight container (plastic or glass) and add a fresh paper towel on top. I’ve pulled week old salad from the refrigerator this way and it’s still good! Second, and this one still seems crazy to me but it works so I don’t ask questions: if you are doing a painting project, don’t wash your brushes/rollers every time you paint. Especially with rollers it seems to always ruin the nap if I washed them. Instead of washing, wrap the brushes and paint roller (with some paint still on it, not dripping) in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator. I’ve kept a roller in the refrigerator this way for several weeks and it was still perfect when I pulled it out to use it again. I’m guessing the cold air keeps the paint from drying, but whatever the reason, this is my favorite home improvement tip EVER.
