I fully agree with courtney1188. I would HATE to get a coaster with someones face on it. I would never use it.
The trash it would go!
We are a small wedding and so we are spoiling our guests. We have so many favors for them because we want each of them to know how special they are to us!!

We are making homemade vanilla. I have to find the small bottles to pour into.

If I could afford to give out those mini bottles of liquor I totally would. tehe

I think anything edible would be a good wedding favor to give out guests. My fiance wanted to do a cookie buffet accompanied with milk and coffee. We have also thought about making our own candles because we’re big on candles. I had an idea of giving each couple a nice frame with a picture of their wedding day or during their engagment or relationship. I think it will be a nice sentimental touch.

I like edible favors, but unlike the PP’s, I have met chocolates I don’t like. If you are going the edible route, at least make sure it’s edible!
I also like wooden matches & jordan almonds as favors.

We had a 4 tiered rice krispie cake so our favors were little chocolate cakes baked in mason jars for everyone to take home. The last wedding I went to had an adorable magnet from the grooms country of origin.

I think anything food related would be great! I have received a wine glass and a beer mug. Actually at my cousin’s wedding some people forgot theirs so we have a set of 4 beer mugs! I love them both. I got seeds before and I’m pretty sure they ended up in the trash. I’ve also received personalized candles (one had our seating info on it which was kind of a cool 2 in 1 thing) but I keep them because I just can’t seem to be able to throw them out!

I was at a wedding where we got a white set — cream and sugar. It was great as many people dont have this. They were purchased at ikea, were simple and when I visit family they all seem to be using this set.

Wedding koozies are a great idea! Here is a picture if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

I’m a fan of sweets, and also little bubble containers! 🙂

A donation. I will know that it’s making a difference for someone. Honestly, I don’t need any more chocolate, koozies (though they would be my second choice), or anything with their names engraved.

Honestly, I consider the name tags at the tables to be favours and I always keep those – I have one from like, 5 years ago still!

just wanted to point you in a direction a lot of folks seem to be going with wedding favors…personalized lip balms w/ the name of the couple and date on the labels! there is a site that i just started frequenting for…now don’t laugh, stocking stuffers…and i found a place that does just this: petalpusherfancies.com
i think they do personalized soaps too…hope this helps!
