I made my site through Wedding Wire and am really pleased with it, and it’s free. It’s very easy to use and has a lot of features that I really like. I did purchase a custom domain to make it easier for my guests to find the site (the url that weddingwire gives is a bit long), and it was $12/year I think.

I used nearly weds because the domain was a little more unique (shantly07.nearlyweds.com) and they allow css customization so my Web genius friend can make it even better!  It’s free and there is so much you can customize on it! I set it up yesterday and even without my friend’s help I was able to really make it my own!

Ewedding wedding was super duper simple to use and I made our own domain name and….ill prolly be exiled for this, but I googled other brides in my area, found a great site…I mean this bride had hotel links and prices, tourist stuff….you name it…she put out all the stops….I mean, her wedding website must have taken days or weeks trip type it all up and Everything. So I went ahead and copied that shit, pasted it to my wedding website and the whole thing took 20 minutes! I just hope her “room blocks for 40 guests over looking the lake” are still blocked off! Fingers crossed!

We went through appy couple which I really like. It builds you your own custom app at the same time as building your website.

@Tbmtb:  i’m thinking of using appy couple too – do you pay the fee per year? or will the site be operational longer? we’re a bit over a year out, but i’d like to make it soon ish 🙂

I used weddingwindow originally due to neat privacy settings, but it just was not working for me. I decided to go for theknot and do not regret it one bit!

We used the Knot’s website creator because I found that their layouts were the most modern, plus it was free.

I like The Knot the best. The domain was the nicest of the free ones, I found. It was [MyNameHisName].ourwedding.com. The layouts are also plentiful and attractive, and it’s really easy to use and update.
