7 carat total. 5 carat emerald cut center stone and two baguettes a carat each. It belongs to my stepmother, they upgraded her rings for their 25th. Her original ring didn’t have a diamond at all.

I saw some jaw-dropping bling and dresses at the Ritz Carlton in Singapore during the Grand Prix in September. One tall, slim, glossy haired beauty of around my age (46) had what I would guess to be a 5 carat MRB in a Tiffany style setting. It looked huge on her slim hand but I have to say I loved it.

Honestly some of the women floating around that hotel seemed like a different species to me. So chic, and expensive. Arab racehorses to my Shetland pony.

The biggest I’ve seen in person is a 5 carat diamond centre stone with a massive halo, love the stone but I would have a different setting if it were mine 🙊

I guess about 2.5 carat? Where I love the average would be just under 1/2 carat. My ring is considered blingy and it is very small by Bee standards.

Mine was the biggest I had seen with a 4.72 carat Asscher center stone until my finance’s best friend proposed to his gf with a 5 carat round.  My tcw is 6.5 with bands but hers is noticeably bigger and has better specs than mine (colorless and flawless).

The biggest I have ever seen was on a woman sitting in front of me at the London Olympics. I caught sight of it every time she clapped. It was mahoosive. I live in an area where common sizes are under 1ct to 5ct and this was bigger. It must have been beautiful quality as well because it sparkled like crazy and she was very expensively dressed and manicured. It was an emerald cut with a thin halo. I tried on a 3.2 MRB at the jewelers the other day but it was not that high quality and I was a bit disappointed in it, some of my friends who have sparkly 1ct stones have nicer rings imo.

I tried on a 15 ct D IF elongated cushion at Harry Winston. That ring is truly a work of art. The biggest ring that I’ve seen on a person probably was about 3.5-4 ct round.

1.5ct is the largest I’ve seen IRL and it’s on a good friend of mine. It’s 4 stones in the middle with smaller ones around the sides like this:

I live in New Zealand and rings cost a FORTUNE here.

Like sometimes USD$9000 for a 1CT e-ring.

Mine’s a 1CT TDW 3 stone halo and it cost us USD $5200

Most of the rings I see are under 0.5CT

ETA: Just checked Michael Hill New Zealand’s website and the biggest ring you can get is 2.5 TDW and it’s USD$17, 500

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 2 ct oval center stone with a halo so, to me, it looks really large.  My cousin has a round brilliant solitaire with micro pave setting and it is at least 3 cts I believe. My jeweler has a round brilliant solitaire in a Tiffany style setting and I believe that is at least 5 cts. So far I think her’s is the biggest one I’ve seen in real life. It is stunning!
