I love concerts and have been to so many it’s hard to choose! My top 5 would have to be Green Day, Bad Religion, Allister, Descendants, Bouncing Souls. Punk’s not dead! :P

ETA: Have to include Streetlight Manifesto as well.

KC-2722: I saw Aerosmith with Kiss! Aerosmith was awesome. I’m so jealous that you got to see the Rolling Stones! 🙂

missythename: Not just for the concert but for the entire experience I’d have to say it was when I saw MIA and girl talk at a $10 outdoor concert on my 21st birthday.

between1standa: Punch Brothers!!! I’m going to the Boston show this Friday, I’m so excited!!
Definitely best concerts were the Punch Brothers and Nickel Creek (they share a mandolinist, Chris Thile). Such simple concerts (no major theatrics besides lights) which lets their INCREDIBLE talent shine front and center. Seriously, those two groups blow my mind with how talented they are… no two concerts are the same from them, they’re always experimenting and improvising on stage, building on their songs and interacting with the audience. If you get the chance to see either of them (Nickel Creek less likely, they just wrapped up their first tour in ~10 years!), I highly recommend going!

vivaciousbride1989: I’ve seen Kiss but not with Aerosmith! That would be awesome. My husbands never seen Aerosmith, we bought tickets the last time they were in Toronto and they cancelled and never rescheduled! Whomp whomp.

Spice Girls Reunion World Tour in 2008. Best day of my life. The vote is still out on whether my wedding day will top it, LOL.

missythename: The greatest concert I’ve been to is probably The Eagles a couple years ago… They were way better than I was expecting, the music was spot on.. The best concert I’ve seen as far as a great stage show is for sure KISS or Lady Gaga…
As for a concert I’d LOVE to see… 100% is Queen, which won’t ever happen because I couldn’t imagine seeing them live without Freddie doing lead vocals..

I’m a Phish head, so I’ve seen them over 20 times. The best was NYE 2013 when we were on the floor and they came out and played a set on a truth like 15 feet away from us, and Halloween 2014 in Vegas when they covered a 1950s Halloween sound effects album. THEY ATTACK! Also I won tickets to see Cheap Trick recreate their Live At Budokan set in a 700-person club, we saw Furthur’s last US run (couldn’t get tickets to Trey & the Dead this July, that was such a clusterfuck), and I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting.
Most of the acts I’d really love to see but haven’, they’re broken up or key people are dead or just way past their prime.

Stephville: YES!!!! I said the same thing Queen with Freddie! I’m borderline obsessed with them. Being at Live Aid would have been my dream (best performance from any band of all time!!)
KC-2722: Oh no! There will be another chance, I’m sure!

ClaudiaKishi: LOL, I was just about to say that I saw the Backstreet Boys when I was in 7th grade and THAT was the concert of a lifetime back then.
Recently– I live in the heart of country music and have been Zac Brown Band, Reba, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Randy Houser, Rascal Flats, Leann Rimes, Sammy Kershaw and so on during various festivals. They were all pretty good!

Prince was my favorite, Lenny Kravitz was really good too and I saw John Mayer before I knew who he was, he was absolutely amazing. I would love to see Joss Stone!

In Houston we have the Livestock Show and Rodeo each year, which has a string of amazing performances. Eventhough the new stadium has pretty bad sound quality, I’d have to say two of the best concerts I’ve ever attended were there: George Strait and Brooks and Dunn.

Garth Brooks! His new tour is amazing. He hasnt tourned in 10 years, so everyone is really excited. Ive been dreaming of seeing him forever, and it lived up to the hype!

I never get tired of seeing Dave Matthews Band in concert! I love them and try to go every year. Coolest concert was seeing Prince, because it’s freaking Prince and he puts on an amazing show.
My favorite concert was seeing Dishwalla in DC back in 2005 and they were playing at a super small venue, which made it feel so intimate. We actually got to have a few beers with the band before they went on and I got to take pics with them after the show. Best of all, JR Richards, the lead singer, touched me and I fan-girled hard. I mean look at him!
In all seriousness though, he has the most amazing voice and is totally underrated IMO.

LoveMyBrit: Hooray! It’s always so refreshing and fun to find people who love the Punch Brothers or Nickel Creek. You’ll have to let me know how Boston is, though I’m sure it’ll absolutely be amazing. I second everything you said about them, as well as Nickel Creek. Did you get to see any of their shows last year? Or any of Chris’ solo/duet shows?
Regardless, everyone should see them. Chris Thile is also a god, regardless of who he’s palying with!
