The best concert I’ve ever been to was Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) this past December, when he toured the US again for the first time in almost 40 years. Simply amazing.
Of course, as you can tell by my avatar, I would have loved to see Queen- with Freddie Mercury.

Outkast! Last summer at BottleRock in Napa, CA! I have always liked Outkast but was never a huge fan. It was SO fun. GO! If you ever get a chance.

Adele made me cry multiple times during her concert. Her voice is the most amazing sound I have ever heard in my life. The show was so incredible, and most of the time she was either just standing in place or sitting on a stool.
As far as performances go though, I think Mika was an amazing live show. I danced my butt off!

I’m totally going international with this post
SM town concert – it’s a huge Korean pop company and the concert consisted of most of their groups and singers
Wonder girls and 2PM – two Korean pop groups, I was mainly in love with 2PM at the time
FIR – Taiwanese pop group, got to see then before they disbanded. Their songs are awesome
All American Rejects – it was at a smaller location so it was close and personal
L’arc en Ciel – huge famous Japanese rock group
Plus many many more Asian concerts and rock concerts but those are the ones that stood out most to me.
I really want to go see Red Hot Chili Peppers but they haven’t been playing a lot recently.

Just wanted to mention that I’ve been obsessed with Queen, especially Freddie Mercury, since I was a preteeen, and saw Queen with Adam Lambert in July (Also I’ve seen a cover band type thing at a venue that hosts touring Broadway shows and the national tour of We Will Rock You). Adam didn’t try to be Freddie, but he had the right flamboyant, over-the-top type of energy, and did a solid job. Brian May is still a guitar God and Roger Taylor is still an incredible drummer. And they understand the art of spectacle, and they do pay tribute to Freddie. It’s not the same of course, but worth checking out (:

- Wedding: October 2015 - Drury Lane Oakbrook
New Kids on the Block reunion tour in 2008.
A friend and I went thinking it was going to be so cheesy, but when they came out we were instantly 9-year-olds again.
Also, their opening act was a new, unknown singer named Lady Gaga.

Mumford & Sons in 2014! Ugh, they are SO GREAT live. Besides that, probably NSYNC (the Celebrity tour). It was a production.

Garth Brooks in 1998, was by far the best concert I ever went to. Besides being my 25th birthday and having awesome seats. He is very decent entertainer, I wish I had been able to see him when he was here this past fall.

Darling Husband took me to see Fun. when we were still dating. It was extra special because in my first email to him I had told him that I really liked them.

ajillity81: Billy Joel at the Hollywood Bowl was my all time favorite too. The venue and the artist were both amazing!
