    @luna_c:  If you go back and read the post history, you can see which camp was the first to launch the disrespectful comments and judgmentalism. But I’m not sure you have the cognitive ability to make that distinction, so um, yeah. Have a nice day.

    @hismrstobee:  Haha does it matter who was first?  All I was doing was suggesting you might remember that old adage about the pot and the kettle, that’s all.  But I’m sorry that made you feel so threatened.

    @luna_c:  “Ha, ha”? Is that really the best you can do?

    @hismrstobee:  Well I’m not here to have a war of words with you, sweetheart.  I’m not sure my cognitive abilities are quite up to it.  However, you did make me giggle.

    At least we can agree on something.

    @hismrstobee:  To be fair, I also “haha”-ed at having my cognitive abilities insulted by someone who thought “judgementalism” was a word.

    Wow crazy thread –

    i would say that the measure of love your SO has for you is not directly correlated to the size of the diamond/diamond looking stone/gemstone/etc.

    Of course I say this after 20+ years of of marriage but with only a .40 diamond on my finger.

    If your SO can afford and wants to get if for you then no problem – if s/he does it because you are a spoiled brat who will make her/him feel bad if they don’t well then..

    thats different

    Oh and I voted I would have been fine with anything.

    @SomedayHisBride:  HAHA….all this time later and your OP is still stirring things ups. Congratulations, I’m guessing this has to be some kind of WB record. Wink

    @hismrstobee:  +1,000,000,000! And amen.

    @Bridey77:  I wish I could just go back and erase the post. It’s obviously been taken wildly out of context. :/

    @SomedayHisBride:  The only thing wrong with your first post is that you assumed everyone would be able to relate to having a wealthy Fiance…..now you know! Personally, I look forward to seeing your ering and posts about your future wedding. It won’t be anything I can relate to in my circles, but that is the fun of WB!

    I especially enjoyed the previous comment about your older future Fiance having a mid life crisis. My husband is 17 years older than I am…..I guess he’s been having a crisis for the last 7 years Wink
