My dog hasn’t ruined anything. He’s 5 now.

He won’t even chew something up if its left in the middle of the living room. I’m damn impressed.

Most expensive single item was my cell phone. In total, who knows. We have two lab mix pups, one is “the goat” & the other is “the raccoon”. The racook steals anything not nailed down and takes it outside, while the goat eats everything in sight. At least 6 pairs of my shoes, 2 of husband’s shoes (one pair were steel toe work boots), the leather case around the tablet, 5 electric cords, a brand new xbox game the day after he bought it, blankets, pillows, couch cushions, a 5# bag of sugar, 10# bag of flour, salt shaker, box of baking soda, half a chocolate cake…my theory is he liked the cake so well that now he’s trying to make one from scratch.

Worst was the family dog chewed through drywall. I don’t mean just chewed a little drywall I mean ripped the wallpaper down, ate that, dug/ate the drywall and then walked through the hole in to another room. He’s lucky he is adorable. By the way he was a 4lb chihuahua puppy.

My cat behaves like a dog somtimes. He loves to chew little wires like headphones… so he has chewed right through an iPhone charger and also $80 pair of headphones. We have to keep all our small wires hidden and under blankets AT ALL TIMES.

Hahaha all these comments are too funny.  Well my sister and I stopped at the grocery store for a minute. I have a 100lb german shepherd and not even 15min later we get back and he pooped all over the seats walking back and forth. The car stunk so bad. We had to sit on grocery bag on the way back home. NOt a fun ride home. I had to pay to get the carpets/seats cleaned.

I just watched hopelessly on puppy cam as my dog destroyed not one, but both couch cushions. Someone is in the market for a new couch…

My dogs were suuuuper destructive when they were puppies. Ive replaced glasses and sunglasses, they ate the legs off of my coffee table, ate a chunk of my mom’s kitchen wall! Once they even ate one of my perscriptions and I had to take them to the emergency vet to induce vomiting and be monitored overnight. Yay for puppies being cute or I wouldnt have dogs!

allyfally:  yay for the Pitbull pride! 🙂

Oh my list is endless I have a soon-to-be 4 year-old pitbull and a 1 year-old pitbull – my stupid UGGs they both chewed which I am not even mad at lol they annoy me now, socks, underwear, Fiance socks which they usually LOVE his Nike socks he wears for basketball that he paid $18 for 2 pairs, my work manuals for training, my youngest on LOVES any plastic kitchen utensil, purses, sundglasses. But the worst has been committed by my 4 year-old he chewed my mom’s $500 prescription glasses and her $75 flip flops my dad bought for her in Florida. Her response “oh it’s okay he didn’t mean it.” (My parents are obsessed with both of my boys) Uhh ok? Oh how could I forget, my dad is on a bunch of blood pressure medication, cholesterol, water pills, etc. the most common pills for old men lol picked up her scripts from his pharmacy-left them on the kitchen table and we went out to dinner and every single bottle was ripped to shreds pills were everywhere. I almost died because my oldest dogs brother died from getting into work-out pills. He did not eat one pill. I never heard my mom call my dad so many bad words in one sentence.

One of my dogs has chewed the wii sensor thing, the BACK of the TV cabinate and some very pretty shoes :(. The other has only torn the carpet from when we used to shut her away for the night, she was trying to get to us.

My cat on the other hand has biten through tape measures, she bites the corners of everything like wardrobes and tables, she shredded the back of the sofa when she was a kitten, she used the tried to used the wallpaper as a scratching post.

At least dogs learn what is acceptable behavour once they have been naughty a few times. Can you imagine telling a cat off?!

I don’t even know where to start…

  • The bathroom door and door jam – $1500 (not the entire door, just the lower half)
  • FIs cell phone – $100 (yay insurance)
  • One bookcase – $300
  • Countless phone chargers, laptop cords, power cord – $300 (approximate)
  • 4 pairs of shoes – $600
  • One handbag – $300
  • One coffee table – $200
  • 2 dog beds – $200
  • All four sofa legs – $800 (replaced the entire sofa)
  • Various other things….bathmats, socks, cheap flip-flops, etc., etc.

This was our mistake for having two puppies at once! I think they encouraged each other when we weren’t home. Thankfully, they are both grown now and haven’t chewed up anything in quite some time :).

Our puggle decided our coffee table corners were too sharp and rounded them out for us. It was newish – less than a year old – and NOT Ikea furniture. He was a little over one at the time. That was nearly 3 years ago. We have kept it and will throw it out when it’s time to buy a house 😛

Our $400 dollar mattress and $400 dollar couch. Same week. She developed extreme storm anxiety in like a few day span when we had really bad storms. Ugh.  There w ere also countless smaller things like shoes, socks, slippers, even a few of my expensive VS bras, dog beds, ummm TV stand. Etc. OH and I forgot, she chewed about 3/4 do the stair banisters before we realized what she was doing it. Walking around lowes trying to find the matching one and explaining it to the employee was fun…… Those have all been over several years though so not so bad. The problem is she will just randomly destroy something after being fine for years so thats why things keep happening. Comes with pet ownership I guess.
