ChicoryCreek:  We have a greyhound, who is quite tall. Last Sunday he jumped up ontop the counter and got into whatever my husband had made for his lunches (I think it was chicken salad). The next day we get home from work and he had pooped in his kennel, A LOT. This poor dog just cannot eat any people food without getting sick to his stomach. The poor thing had poop everywhere, all over his face, bed, blanket, the floor. Ugh. I HAD to bathe him, but we were out of doggy shampoo so I used my expensive shampoo (on a rather large dog). I will say, his fur is super soft & healthy looking now!

In the middle of the night last night my dogs starting whining so i let them out thinking they really needed to use the bathroom, 10 minutes later i hear them chasing something, as soon as i got out there i hear a pop, and see a armadillo hanging out of one of their mouths he then proceeded to drop it at my feet.

Well, our corgi ate one of my tampons recently. Yup, it was used. So DH had the pleasure of helping pull it out of his butt this morning on his walk. ๐Ÿ˜›

ChicoryCreek:  I have two 4 month old kittens and sometimes when they are given wet food as a treat they then proceed to have a BE (bum explosion) They stay in a bedroom while we are at work and one day I came home to the most disgusting mess!!! Their litter was full of pooh and there was even pooh on the walls and smeared on the floors!! Gross! I now have to newspaper the whole are around their litter box so I dont have to scrub the walls again!

A few years back, our neighbours got doves. We had cats. Not a good combination… They got hold of one, and then our King Charles puppy got it off them – blood and feathers everywhere.

howtobeawife:  One of our dogs does the same thing ๐Ÿ™ and yes he’s done it to the other dog AS he was pooping. We try to be vigilant about picking it up but it’s really hard when we’re out all day. Our backyard is also almost entirely dirt as well so the poop is hard to find! He is constantly doing it and I think he must have a stockpile of it somewhere because whenever we put them outside, he runs straight around the back and comes back with it all over his mouth and his breath is just… OMG! We’ve ended up buying this stuff from the US on ebay called Forbid. You may want to look into it if it becomes more of a problem! It hasn’t arrived yet so I can’t speak to how well it works but we’ve tried everything we could and nothing makes him stop. We are at our wits end.

My youngest likes to bring her bone in from outside (where it is supposed to stay) onto my bed, sometimes under the covers! She gets told off big time when she does that.

This wasn’t that recent, but it was so bad I’ll share it anyway.

We were visiting some friends from college in DC (we live in Boston), and on our drive home, we got stuck in horrible traffic going over the GW Bridge in NYC. Our dog started acting really weird while laying in my lap (note, she is like 40 lbs.). All of a sudden, she vomited ALL OVER ME. Because we were about to get on the bridge, there was no exit. We had to drive for like 15-20 minutes before we could get off the highway so I could clean up. In that time period, our dog (now sitting in the back seat) had explosive diarrhea all over the back seat of the car.

Eventually, we were able to get off the highway and clean up, but we spent the remainder of the 4 hour drive in a car that smelled like vomit and poop, while pulling over every 20-30 minutes or so to let our sick dog go to the bathroom.

We can joke about it now, but it was so horribly disgusting at the time.
