Whats the nicest thing someone said to you this week?
For me I overheard my futuregrandmother in law tell my mom how well put together I am and how I always look so pretty when I stop in, which made me smile.
What about you ladies?

Had a patient’s mother last night ask me how long I’ve been a nurse(11 years) and then told me that I acted like I still loved my job and thanked me for being so kind to her and her son. I was kinda having a rough night at work and just a simple compliment like that really made my night.

My boss told my parents when they finally met him that I’m very very smart. Made me blush and smile 🙂

An old friend told me that she loves my FB posts because I am always positive and strong and just roll with whatever happens in my life. She said that my posts always encourage her. 🙂 It was nice, because I just went through a break-up, I’m stressing about my business and money, and not feeling that great in general, so I told her that her words really lifted me up! 🙂

I came out of the hair dresser the other day, feeling all confident and gorgeous with my new hair. There were a couple of guys working on a light outside. I realised one of them was looking at me. In my mind I was thinking “why are you looking at me, thats weird”.
As I got to him, he smiled and really politley asked me how my day was.
When I got home I told my Fiance, cause it was weird. He told me that I just looked so stunning that I must of caught the guys eye. I laughed, a lot! But inside I was pretty chuffed! LOL

I went to get boat tickets from an office we use a few days ago. It was crazy hectic, and the owner came up to me and gave me a big squeeze and said to me “You smile with your whole face – never loose that – It makes other people happy.”. Needles to say I had a tear in my eye.

Huh. Nothing. I received no compliments or positive feedback.

I am a waitress and one of my customers said I looked like a goddess I was so beautiful. Wow!!!! I jokingly said I was going to cut him off from beer. He wasn’t drunk though or even hitting on me (he had taken his mom to dinner). But it made me feel very flattered.

“No, I had to negotiage a raise on your behalf. You’re an amazing worker, that’s why they didn’t blink when I asked for it!”
🙂 I’m a college student so every dollar counts for me, and it was SO kind of her (even if it is only for the one project, I work as a research assistant at my university, so project payment is based on what the professors get as far as funding).

“That was the best wedding I’ve ever been to – you both looked so incredibly happy the whole time!”
Also a bee on here said I was one of the most beautiful brides she’d ever seen, and THAT definitely made my day 🙂
