@MrsBtoBe14:  They make you walk and stand differently than flats.

Lots of brides wear flats. You want to be comfortable and to be able to dance.

(They do make you stand differently, though. Boobs and butt both go out and you get an S-curve on the profile.)

I’ll be wearing a tea length dress so everyone will be seeing my shoes but even if I was wearing a long dress I would still wear heels because I like feeling tall, they make me feel elegant and a wedding is a somewhat elegant occasion, and because it’s fun to wear pretty shoes. Heels are just aesthetically appealing. I don’t like flats all that much and I would feel kind of frumpy wearing them with such a nice dress.

I’m 5’3″. My husband is 6’2″. Hence the heels. 😉

I’m wearing heels only because I have to.  I’m 5’2″ and my fiance is 6’5″.

@SouthernGirl:  I agree. I returned my 4 inch heels for a really comfy pair of sparkly flats.

@sheepandbear:  I’m going to sell mine. I wore them once and I just don’t think I can do it. They are really adorable and I wanted to love them, but all I can think about is falling flat on my face or something.

My wedding is outdoors and there will be lawn games. I am wearing a tea-length dress and FLATS! I never wear heels and would be completely uncomfortable…

You actually do see your shoes sometimes. I have pics of me walking down the church’s stairs, walking down the stairs into the reception, & when they put me up on a chair.

So just make sure you choose a pair you won’t regret looking at in pictures.

I want to wear heels because of the extra height. I am 5’3” and my Fiance is 6’2”. I am looking for  some flats to change into later in the evening however.
