I feel weird, because none of the movies listed have scared me. Except The Ring. That terrified me the first time I watched it. I remember I watched it at my dads house, I was 13 or 14, I was alone, it was night time. The only thing that really got to me was the faces of the people after they died. And everytime I closed my eyes, thats all I could see. The next day I went back home and found out that my fan had been left at my dads house, and I cant sleep without a fan. My mom suggested I turn off the tv and listen to the white noise. I almost cried.
I thought Insidious was pretty stupid, myself. I kept waiting to be scared and I just never was. Same with all the Paranormal Activity movies. I always thought The Exorcist was more interesting than scary. I liked The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but it didnt scare me. I’ve never seen the original though, so maybe its scarier. I’ve also never seen The Strangers, so I might have to watch that.
Oh, but if they made a movie about Slenderman, that would terrify. Seeing the previews on tv would scare me. Wouldnt be able to watch it. And now I’m going to be too scared to look around my room in case he’s standing in the corner. XD
Oh! The Fourth Kind!! It scared me… Until I learned that it was fake. I was so mad.

BLAIR WITCH! It was the first scary movie I watched that wasn’t just about going BOO or something and instead was messing with your head. It was just too real. The ending…*shudders*…still can’t think of it without wanting to hide under the covers. My BF at the time took me to watch it at night. Part of the ride home was on a dark street surrounded by undeveloped lots with leafless trees. I was so spooked that I actually took off my seat belt and curled into the fetal position on the car floor. Swear on my life.
I had a meh reaction to watching The Ring, but my crazy imagination kept going back to it when I was trying to go to sleep. I lived in a tiiiiiiny apartment back then, and my tv was backed into the wall next to my bedroom door. I kept “seeing” my couch lit up by the tv going on by itself for days (nights?) after watching.

The fourthkind and the last exorcism. I love scary movies! I watch paranormal related shows just about everyday. They’re my favorite!

I love horror movies, though they never scare me. Sinister has come the closest to freaking me out!
