@Diamond84:  The SAME exact thing happend to me when my Best Friend died in a car crash! I was in my room and I was talking to my mom saying I felt like my heart was breaking and I didn’t know why and my mom was just trying to comfort me. I just started bawling!

The next day I found out my best friend had passed away the same day I said I felt like my heart was breaking. 🙁 I feel like our souls just know this stuff…..

@SweetartMD:  It’s amazing, isn’t it? i really believe that when two people have a very close and special bond, things like this can occur.

I had an out of body experience when I was about 9.

I had gone to spend a week of summer at a friend’s summer farm house (I’ll call him G). One day G’s Mom took us to a local bakery. I started feeling ill as soon as we walked in. I think it was the yeast smell. By the time we walked out I was very light headed.

Outside, G opened the car door for me. I got in, scooted across the back seat, turned around – and saw myself, still standing outside the car, pass out cold and fall to the ground. G’s Mom thought he’d hit me with the car door. lol

It wasn’t scary, just weird. Like my consciousness moved ahead and got in the car, but my body couldn’t follow.

My only other weird story was from a March break trip. A bunch of my highschool friends, including my best friend (who was a guy), went on a grad trip to Cancun. I went on a different holiday with my parents.

The Wednesday, i had this terrible feeling around 10pm that my friend was not okay and really needed me. It lasted for about 90 mins but was really intense.

The next week we were talking about our holidays and I asked him if anything happened on the Wednesday. He gave me a sheepish look and said, “Why? What do you know” I told him what I’d felt and his face changed to a creeped out look. He said “Wednesday night I got really sick (it was an all inclusive, so we’ll read that as “drunk” lol). I thought I was going to die and kept thinking if you were here, you’d take care of me.” “Was it around 10pm?” I asked. He blurted out “Holy sh*t stop that!” and refused to talk about it any more.

[apparently his gf at the time was NOT as in tune with him as I was. haha]

My mom was in the hospital for 19 days before she passed away and I would go there every morning and stay until around 11 at night and my dad would spend the nights and stay with her, he loved her so much. I was sleeping and my Darling Husband heard the phone ring around 6:50 in the morning and he noticed it was my dad calling, he didn’t answer because he had a feeling it was bad news and he thought I should be the one to talk to my dad, so he tried waking me up and I was still half asleep and I said to him “What are you doing here, my mom and I are sleeping”! I dreamt my mom was in bed with me and it felt so real and it was right around the time she passed away! I feel like it was her way of saying goodbye!

I regret reading every one of these soo creeped out right now.

My sisters husband was killed in a car accident (ironically today is his birthday) when they were in their mid 20’s. After he died I slept at her house every night to keep her company. She alao had a 2 year old niece. So one night aftery niece was in bed my sister and I were in the living room just watching tv and the babyomit or was on. My niece used to sing to herself when she was hoing to sleep, twinkle twinkle, abc, Barney songs until she fell asleep. So one night as we are watching tv we hear my niece singing for a few minutes, when all of a sudden she stopped singing and saya “hi daddy” my sister and I turned pale and ran to her room but didn’t see anything.

A few few months later (still living in the same house)my sister met a new guy who she started dating. The first night he slept over, she heard someone crying and it woke her up. They were sleeping on the couch, and next to the living room there was stairs to go to the bedroom one of which was my nieces. So when my sister woke up to the weeping she saw my brother in law with his head in his hands just crying. She walked past him to check on my niece and came back to the living room. In the morning she thought it was a dream, until she realized that she changed her pad (she was on her period) in the middle of the night. The only bathroom in that house was upstairs so she was definitely up.

swanks4tw:  OMFG!!!! TIME TO MOOOOVE!!!!!!!!!

I’ve had random stuff gone missing- I’ve always chalked it up to sisters/friends borrowing without asking. But when I was little I do have something strange that happened. I lived in an old new england house that was built in 1815. The attic had eaves with false walls- there were hidey holes behind, probably left over from the underground railroad. Anway, one rainy day I was playing up there and found an old military helmut from WW1. It was pretty banged up, and after playing with my brother for a while, we left it in the corner and went away.

That same night, I woke up in the middle of the night to hear heavy footsteps walking in the attic above me. I shared a room with my little sister and she was fast asleep. I crept out of bed and peeked in my brother’s room. He was also asleep. I thought maybe my mom was up late moving something up there. But when I got to the attic door, it was open but the light wasn’t on. I called my mom’s name and didn’t hear anything, so I shut the door and locked it with the sliding clasp.

I went back to bed and a little while later, I heard that noise again. It was like big heavy boots walking above me. I jumped out of bed, convinced my brother was playing tricks with me. He was still asleep in bed and I realized that there was no way he could have snuck past me as he had to walk past my room to get to the attic stairs. When I went to the attic door, I saw that it was unlocked and open.

I FREAKED and ran into my mom’s room and hid under her covers for the rest of the night. The next day I went upstairs and put the helmut back where I found it. I never heard that noise again.

I am a nanny, and as PPs have mentioned little kids can be super creepy. I was babysitting a three year old girl after the Sandy Hook shooting (like the night it happened). Her parents specifically told me to avoid news channels as they didn’t want her finding out about it, so she had no idea what had happened. Just a little before I sent her to bed she was watching a cartoon and dancing around the room. Suddenly she just stopped and turned her whole body toward the kitchen like she was in a trance. She started waving her hand in like a come here motion and said, “come on in little kids, it’s okay you’ll be safe here and we can play!”

i was just shocked, and I didn’t babysit for that family again after that! I’ve always believed in spirits as I believe my grandfather visits me. My mom and I have both experienced weird things since he passed five years ago.

abour a year before he died we had to move him from our house where he had lived with is forever To a nursing home as he was having a lot of health issues. He specifically told my parents that he wanted his room to go to me as he had the second master bedroom. He said I helped him the most, so I should get it. I moved in about a month later. He died the next year in october. I didn’t experience anything until December 6 (his birthday) of that year. We had the carpets cleaned and everything was bleached in his room before I moved in. I never smelled him, but that night in dec. I randomly woke up at 3 AM for no apparent reason. I suddenly smelled a mix of scope and just the smell he always had that I could never pinpoint what it was. It’s a very unique but familiar smell to me. I thought it was odd, but went back to sleep. a few days later i told my moon what happened, and she just stared at me. She said the same night around 3 she woke up because her TV suddenly turned on to just snow. the TV was unplugged because it no longer worked anyway. She figured maybe it somehow got plugged back in, but when she checked the next day it was still unplugged.

i has since moved out, but up until the move I did get visits from my grandpa, and I even experienced the TV randomly turning on as well.

1)FI’s guitar, which is actuall broken, was playing itself one time while I was down the cellar It hasn’t done it since.

2)In same cellar, when I slept alone as it is our bedroom…I woke up to wha sounded like large bird wings flapping over my head. I thought a pigeon or a crow got in. Nothing was down there. It happened a few other times. I feel like it was a unwanted precense of some sort because I’ve never experienced when he was down there and Fiance wears a cross & St. Anthony medal at all times.

3)When I was a kid. a tape ejected from my parents’ VCR in their room by itself. I wasn’t even watching a movie that day.

4)I’ve had many times where I’ve predicted things that were about to be said word-for-word, especially in cases of dejavu.

Just remembered more.

During the Summer of 2009, the TV in mine & my sisters’ room kept turning on by itself. My dog also kept winding up shut in the room. We finally decided to shut the door before he left so he couldn’t get in in the the first place. We come, back. Dog is in room and TV is on. He’s a little chiahuahua terrier mix, too, so it’s not like he’s big enough to train himself.

mine’s odd but not creepy as such. i went to school one saturday for a play rehearsal. i specifically remember putting my new watch on. i then took it off due to my costume and later couldn’t find it.

that afternoon i was at my friends going up the stairs to her room and my watch was sat on the banister. she hadn’t seen it there before and none of her family recalled putting it there. besides, i know i left it at school!

The posts about feeling that someone died actually reminded me about when Darling Husband and I were dating we both had our own homes and would alternate sleeping at each other’s house. One night we were hanging out at my house and he was acting really really weird and wasn’t talking much and just seemed off to me then as it got time to go to bed he said he just felt like he should go home by himself and not spend the night. I was honestly so worried and was certain he must be breaking up with me because that was not like him at all. We’ll the next morning he calls me and tells me his grandfather passed away during the night. It was very weird.

A couple months ago I had a dream that my mom passed away and she was in my dream telling me that she was ok. I have never had a dream like that before and woke up hysterically crying and immediately called my mom at 5am to make sure she was ok. Well in March my mom had a colonoscopy and they found she has stage IV colon cancer with prognosis of six months. I know it’s odd, but I find comfort in thinking about that dream today. I believe God was trying to prepare me for what was to come.

Nothing scary or creepy really. This sounds so unbelievable, but I guessed the lottory numbers.

I was around nine or so and Mum and I were watching the national lottory draws and she was going to write them down to check them later. They were live so I couldnt have subconsciously known the numbers before hand or something like that which would explain it.

So they’re about to start and I say the first number and then it comes out of the machine. And then I do the same for each of the other numbers including the bonus ball. My mum seriously freaked out, she was like “We have a creepy psychic child!” Dad said it was a shame it hadn’t happend a bit earlier so he could have gone and bought the winning ticket.

I have always had great luck at guessing which is probably why my exam results were so good.

But nothing else like that has ever happened to me. Though I do have crazy deja vu. Up to the point where I can remember dreaming something years ago and thinking about the dream the next day so I can place it datewise in my head, and then the dream will “come true” years later.
