Two and a half years ago I got into a car accident that totaled my little Toyota Corolla, but I was in the process of buying a house so I couldn’t buy a new car for 3 months. After the rental paid by my insurance had to be returned I had to drive my dad’s 12 passenger LIFTED van. I literally had to jump to get into it (no step and I’m 5’5″ so not tiny) and parking was an absolute bitch. It also rattled alarmingly on freeways. I felt like it was going to tip over at any moment. It looked like this, but white:

My first car was my worst car. I had a 96 Camaro now don’t get me wrong I absolutely loved my little race car but it had a blown head gasket and I had my whole trunk filled with gallon jugs of water just in case I sat at a stop light too long. It overheated almost everyday. Finally my ex did me a favor and threatened to smash in my windshield and that made my parents get me a new car

iarebridezilla: My parents SAAB 900 from the 1980’s that passed away just a few years ago. My dad loved that car like a third child, so he kept getting it repaired way past the point where it was functional anymore. A few little “quirks” with it:
1) It sounded like a cricket ever since it got rear-ended
2) The drives seat was broken as my dad is overweight and it just gave up one day. As he couldn’t find a replacement seat he stuffed pillows into the seat so that you wouldn’t have to sit on the floor
3) It only had three doors, with the trunk included, and the two front doors wouldn’t always work so you would have to crawl in through the trunk
4) If you would hit a stone your teeth was in serious jeopardy
5) You couldn’t turn off the heat – made for awful driving in the summer
We (as in everyone except from dad) called it SkAABben, which is a pun on SAAB and “skabb”, which is Swedish for scabies.

Jeep Liberty. It was my rental when I got into a fender bender. Drove like shit, terrible visibility.

The for the worst car for me is any small car made by Chrysler. And now I am shopping around for a small car and I flat out refuse to look anything in their line up.
The worst car I ever owned was also my best car. My senior year of high school I drobe a 1994 BMW 700 something series. It was smoothest ride and the most comfortable ride ever. The only that made that car being the worst was the cost of repairs after the radiator hose went (one solid piece or something along that lines) cost a small fortune. And then gas was pretty expensive for that with it only taking the most expensive type of gas. I do miss that car though.
My other awful own car was my Saturn slr. I got it for college before I started my second year every trip back home (500 or so miles one way) the car would brake down sometimes when I reached home others about half way. I only made the trip home three times that year and the car stopped working each time. Same problem to… with it refusing to start. Not fun.
