MichiganGirl24:  Terrible co-workers and a supervisor for my last position. I don’t mind thepsychoeducational reports all that much. I don’t like the meetings though.

MichiganGirl24:  wow! I would definitely transfer that script, I wish I could tell you to transfer it to the pharmacy I work for 😉 but we don’t exist in Michigan (if that’s where you’re from based on your username). It’s a good thing you did it early.

Working holidays. Christmas Eve and Thanksgiving Eve one year, then New Years Eve the next. I get a bit sad the night of the holidays I’m working because I’m missing out on holiday fun, but I’m a bedside nurse, so it’s what happens in the field. I do my best to make the families of the babies I’m taking care of especialky happy those nights…it’s much worse for them having a sick baby in hospital those nights than me missing out on (postponed) family time.

Being hit in the face.

Seriously, I’m a full-time nanny to a 4-year-old boy with special needs. He’s very bright and usually very sweet, and his parents and behavioral therapist are great, but he gets frustrated easily and frequently becomes agressive, and sometimes that leads to me being hit in the face. But I adore him and I find working with him to be very rewarding. My goal is to do my part to prepare him as well as possible for starting kindergarten in fall of next year.
