msblackberry11:  Beautiful! I love how you incorporated different colored metals. Two-toned is nice.

I’m all about the stack! Eventually I want to end up with more rings than I could possibly wear at once lol. I like changing rings out and having a different look every now and then rather than the same full set all the time, it’s my background in fashion that makes me finicky I think but I’ll just never change my solitaire

So hubby bought me my 2nd band for our 1 year anniversary. It matches my 1st wedding band. Then for mothers day he gave me the 3rd band. I wore it on my right hand until I got pregnant with our twin girls. Then it was too snug on my right hand so I moved it with my wedding set and LOVED it. Was going to move it back to my right hand but we ended up with 3 beautiful girls and I love the idea of having the 3 bands with my engagement ring. It reminds me of my husband (engagement ring) and a band for each of my girls:) and the 2 that are the same are my twins !!

Traditional its 3 rings

Engagement ring is the promise

Wedding ring is the commitment of the promise

Eternity ring is the promise of being committed for eternity. This is given at any stage of the relationship,  so could be given on wedding day, for 1 anniversary,  1st child or later down the line at a vow renewal ect

Ha, what a zombie thread!

I was initially anti-stacking. I got a plain solitaire, and because I wanted something more exciting than a plain band, opted for a 3/4 eternity band. I love it (wedding is still several months away), but I quickly realized that it probably wasn’t up to being worn 24/7 for decades. I bought a cheap 2 mm plain tungsten band to try out, and decided I’ll go for the stack. The plain band will be worn on the bottom, and it’ll never come off. When I travel/on days I run after work, I’ll probably just wear the plain and eternity bands. For work/date nights, I’ll wear all 3. I currently take my engagement ring off when I get home from work and don’t sleep in it, and plan to get a double ring box so I can continue to do the same (with the 3/4 eternity band as well).
