1234qwerty94:  DH and I are hoping to find out were pregnant in one more week. We’ll see! For our 5 year plan, were hoping to have three kids by the 5 year mark (I’m hoping to have a set of twins). DH wants to be off of his current crew at work, and moved onto something bigger and better, but still at the same company. I want to have started and completed LVT school (only takes 2 years).

1234qwerty94:  You can no longer cuddle koalas in OZ! I was very disappointed on our honeymoon last December as I had managed to cuddle one when I was 7.

We don’t really have a plan. No breeding for us, so just continuing to enjoy our fabulous life ๐Ÿ™‚

Fun! We are already married and own our dream home so those are taken care of. We also have a toddler. So for the next 5 years we are just planning on enjoying our family, doing some outside landscaping (our home is new) taking a vacation just hubs and I to the Caribbean next year, and then having baby #2 the year after that hopefully!

1234qwerty94:  Oh gosh in 5 year I will be 35 and DH will be 36 (God willing of course).  LOL but don’t want to think about the 35 part….

Well this is my 5 year plan…

I currently started thinking about going into teaching.  Been volunteering so if all goes well I want to go into a program at the beginning of next year so that I can get my teaching certificate.  Also in Feb or March of next year my DH and I want to TTC.  If goes as planned I will be teaching and maybe be a first time mommy?

My 30th bday was this past Saturday and my DH bought my a camera.  Been interested in photography to, so if that works too I want to start a side business.

Also my DH and I bought our first home together in 2013 and got it for 15 years.  2 down 13 to go… But the plan is that once we pay off all of our major bills we want to start paying more towards our home.  So hopefully we can pay it off in less than the 15 years…

Of course things change but that’s what I have planned LOL.  We’ll see if that goes as planned.

1234qwerty94:  I live in Australia and we cuddled a koala on our honeymoon in April. It depends on where you go, some zoos/wildlife parks allow you to, others don’t ๐Ÿ™‚

We only really have a 2 year plan at the moment but have a rough idea of how we want things to pan out.

2015

We got married this year ๐Ÿ˜„ we moved into a rental owned my DH’s mum. We were planning on ttc next year but started this month ๐Ÿ˜„

2016

we have a 2 week holiday planned, we want to buy a car, depending on when I fall pregnant I’m due to finish my uni degree in September. Hopefully have a baby if all goes to plan ๐Ÿ˜Š keep paying off our furniture

2017-2018

graduate uni

We want 4 kids by 30 and I’m going to be a stay at home mum (at this stage) and do some casual teaching when I have time lol. I’m considering doing my masters some time in the future too.

2016: Enjoy our new marriage, I’ll graduate and start a fulltime job, work on my travel writing blog, save up money. Go on our honeymoon for 2 weeks!

2017: Buy a house (we currently rent), travel when we can.

2018: Start actively TTC (if we don’t get pregnant before then) since I’ll be 25 and he’ll be 33/34.

2019: Continue writing, maybe try to get published (my hobby)? Have first kid, hopefully!

2020: Continue enjoying our hobbies and travels, settle in as parents, maybe move states?

There’s so many unknowns that 2019-2020 could totally change depending on how fast or slow we want our lives to move. We’ll be taking it easy and having fun regardless of what we decide to do!

I do love making 5 year plans.  ๐Ÿ™‚  I think it brings dreams into goals and goals into actions.  Way to go girls!

2016: Finish my certification; Create a family calendar, organize our “emergency kit” (long story on this); Keep up with healthy lifestyle started 10/2015; run first 1/2 marathon; go on one couples-only vacation with my Fiance

2017:  Look into nertworking for a new field (speciliazed field); get started on Test 1 of 3 for new field specialization (WORK); look for board of director position for a non-profit (COMMUNITY); try looking into getting certified for pilates instruction (HEALTH); family time and vacation (FAMILY); plan our wedding!

2018:  Fiance will graduate possibly move to a new state (WORK); Finish test 2 of 3 for specialization (WORK); hopefully networking would have paid off with a job at that field; WEDDING (France) and HONEYMOON (London, Switzerland)  This is the FORK IN THE ROAD year for us because of his graduating, 80% possibility of move.

2019:  Buy a home.  We will have enough saved in 2018 to pay a downpayment for a home.  This year, once I get out of my firm and into this new field, I wil think about long-term investment and passive income options for my family.  This is MY own fork in the road.

2020:  This one, I haven’t planned for really.  Most of the goals for this year will rely on what happens in 2018 and 2019.  The only goal this year is:  TOKYO OLYMPICS BABY!!!
