KatiePi :  Hi there, send me a PM with your email , and I can add you to our FB group. My LO wakes up around 7-8 am. Eats breakfast, activity, nap, lunch around 1 pm, nap after that, play time, dinner around 6 pm, then bed time starts at 8 pm. He has a bottle between meals. Just yesterday he stopped having his third nap.

PS. I’m going to be a high school teacher and Darling Husband a stay at home dad while finishing school ..sounds familiar 😃

My 6 month old isn’t super consistent with her wake up times and naps yet but we are starting to get into a bit more of a routine. She wakes up anytime between 4-5am for a bottle then goes back down to sleep until about 7-8am. She eats her rice cereal and has a bottle, then we do playtime until around 10-11, when she eats again (just a bottle) and goes down for a nap for about an hour. Then awake time again until lunch at 1-130pm (babyfood & bottle), then usually a nap around 2 or 3 for an hour and dinner around 430pm (cereal & bottle). She usually starts getting fussy around 6pm and we do a bedtime bottle then sleep by 630-7pm.

On the weekends when her daddy gets up with her for the 4-5am bottle she usually won’t go back to sleep so they stay up and then she naps around 7-8 for a half hour or so and usually has a bit of a longer nap in the afternoon – I have no idea why she doesn’t want to go to sleep for Darling Husband in the morning, but they both seem happy with the arrangement so I don’t complain!

KatiePi :  He’s eating a lot and loves to eat grown up food. Three handfuls of solid food each day. He’s taking about 30 oz of milk.  I’m going to add you to the group right now. Look for the invite.

At 8 months and change, Dear Daughter is transitioning from 3 to 2 naps, so some days we have 3 and some 2.  Up at 6 or 7, nurse, play, maybe a little bite or 2 of fruit or yogurt while I eat my breakfast, then nap 2 hours after waking, 30-60 minutes.  Up, nurse, either play/do chores or if I have to run out to the store, this is when I do it, sometimes she takes a catnap (25 mins) in the car on the way home, or we have some lunch together and she naps at home, usually around 11 or noon-ish.  If she takes a short (30 min) nap here, or did the catnap in the car, she’ll take one more nap in the afternoon and that will be a big (2-3 hour) nap.  If the noon-ish nap is the big one, then that’s usually it for the day, she’ll nurse every 3 hours or so but obv it varies depending on how those 2 naps went, and sometimes she eats some dinner sometimes not, depends what mood she’s in.  Bedtime routine starts at 6:30, she’s usually out by 7.

KatiePi :  not very much.  I try to offer a variety of finger foods (she refuses to be spoonfed), but if it’s not one of her handful of favorites (avacado, watermelon, baby mummums, a few veggies) it just gets dropped on the floor, haha.  Her doctor gave me crap about how little she eats, but it’s not like I can force feed her, best I can do is offer it and let her decide what /how much to eat.

KatiePi :  I do cereal first and then the bottle because if I feed her the bottle first she usually won’t take the cereal. She will usually only drink about 3 or 4oz of her bottle after cereal though and usually she drinks between 6-7oz when she has a bottle alone.

I mix about 2 tablespoons of the rice cereal mix with 2oz of formula for breakfast and dinner, in addition to her bottle, and we do a few oz of pureed food at lunch 🙂

KatiePi :  Almost sounds like we have the same kiddo haha. My 7 month olds schedule is almost the same as yours. I wonder about too much sleep at times too but the doc has reassured me that he’s doing just fine and to not worry 🙂

KatiePi :  i would say probably around 6 months – thats when she sstarted going to daycare. The daycare didn’t have a set time as to when each baby would nap, but we noticed when we would pick her up she only napped twice, so on weekends we started to implement that. Also note that on weekends when she is home with us, she naps for WAYY longer than what she does at daycare. At daycare she will maybe 30 to 45 mins.
