ashleymarie843 :  there are so many, but I started with a sensitive skin facial just to see how I’d react to it. They use milder products and scent-free lotions. After that, I did an anti-aging one and they did more of a deep clean and acid-based mask on it. It’s best to just go and get a skin eval and consult, they will let you know what will be best for your skin.

Plus, it’s so nice to do it in the winter because it really helps moisturize and if your skin is like mine, it gets realllllly dry when the weather goes haywire and changes. Especially on my nose and forehead, and that has helped tremendously!

I am 38 with not ONE wrinkle or fine line.

Dr. Lancer products are the truth (Kim K and Victoria Beckham swears by them as well)..mild exfoliate, cleanse, then moisturize every night (although I dont exfoliate every night in the winter)

Retinol (Skinceuticals brand)…about 3 times a week

Palmers skin  moisturizer (use under my makeup and at night)

Vitamin E and C along with pycnogenol.

I only wash my face at night once a day by the way.

ashleymarie843 :  If your eyes are an issue, the Kate Somerville night eye cream. Just generally, I think I’d say the Luna oil 🙂

Nivea creme twice a day, St. Ives scrub twice a week and I try to use wipes with vitamin E & collagen.  Every few months, I try to use lemon on my face.  I just turned 30 last week & people can’t believe it.

Mine skin care routine is boring. I wash my face with regular soap, then use rose water as a toner and then use ponds cream for a moisturizer. I learned if I do use a cleanser, I get acne.

ashleymarie843 :  a few drops of lemon juice on one of those round cotton pads to help if I get blackheads/pimples.  I don’t do it too often because it does dry out the skin.

I really recommend Murad Acne Clearing Solution (not the “Cleansing Solution”…it’s a little different) for uneven skin tone and some acne prone spots. That’s what I use and it’s gentle enough for everyday and makes my skin sort of glowy. It’s awesome.

Routine-wise drink tons of water, wash your face everyday (I like Neutrogena cleansing wipes because they’re easy), wear sunscreen, and exfoliate roughly twice a week. That’s all stuff you’ve probably heard before, but people say it a lot because it works!

Also if you’re a little out of date on taking care of your skin, you can always look into getting a facial and/or a peel. Then you can get some good tips for maintenance.

Retinol.

In the morning I wash my face with nutrogena face was for sensitive skin and I put on a moisturizer with SPF 35 in it and a hydrating Vichy eye cream. No retinol in the day as it makes my skin sensitive to the sun.

In the evening I take off my make up with a nutrogena face wipe and then I use the same wash as the morning. If I have a hormonal break out going on around my chin I use a 2% saylic acid wash (Neutrogena grapefruit wash) but only around my chin as its too harsh and drying for the rest of my face. Then I use a Retinol based eye cream, serum and night cream. The brands I use vary as my facialist says it is good to switch brands as the skin responds best to change apparently.

Then I have a facial once every 8 weeks or so.

I read in vogue that sunscreen, retinol and drinking water are the only things that really make a difference. That and botox but that’s not for me just yet :). People are always surprised when I say I am in my mid 30’s, they always assume I am mid 20’s :).

Oh also I exfoliate a few times a week with a homemade sugar and olive oil scrub.
