Hmm I also have many! A few are :

When I’m quiet and someone asks if I’m mad, I say no but they insist I am. Automatically makes me mad

People who are rude for no reason. I always wonder what makes them so pissy. I have a short temper & I’m not that rude .

Parked car, running or not, with headlights on. Only when I’m near said car of course lol.

People not picking up after their dog- its disgusting.

Another pet one, people getting mad/ yelling at their pet.

When someone says “could care less” .

Hmm I guess that’s about it lol.

@Skittles131: I’m with you on people cancelling plans, and then they turn around and make it out like you never make time to see them. UM HELL NO!

  • When you write a huge text and all you get back is “k”. My Dad does this ALL. THE. TIME. Drives me insane!
  • When people leave their windscreen wipers on when it’s stopped raining.
  • People who stop right in front of the esculators in shopping centres, or in the middle of a pathway, blocking everyone. (Although my dogs do this too, lol)

There’s a lot more, but I’ll be here for hours and take up the whole thread, hahaha.

Grammar and spelling.

First of all, it is spelt Stationery; it’s easy to remember: there’s an “e” in pen. Stationary means you are not moving, like a stationary bicycle.

How to spell separate. “Seperate” drives me nuts.

And I agree with @atreyu547:  “I could care less” comment. See Mitchell’s video on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om7O0MFkmpw

However, the biggest pet peeve of mine would probably be coworkers leaving dirty dishes in the sink. Come on! We are all professional adults.

@Skittles131:  I cannot stand three things most of all…

1. When people do not do their jobs ( anything from wrong drive thru orders to poor manufacturing) it irks my whole world. Whatever it is ” they had ONE job and couldn’t get it right”

2. When people do not yield/ right of way when driving- I literally have a 3 minute drive to work and it happens at 3 different turns/ lights- people are ridiculous and need to go back to driving school.

3. People who do not return calls, emails, texts. I roll my eyes with social circle/family but at work it really is not cool waiting on someone else to do their job so I can do mine.

@Cynderbug:  Me too! I will sit there and correct people if I have to.

One of my ultimate pet peeves is when people are on the phone while I’m trying to serve them. It takes everything I have inside not to take their phone and smash it. I also can’t stand when someone says the word “whore”. Like, if someone is using it to insult me or anyone else, I will fly off the handle.

While we are speaking on improper use of mobile phones, here’s one that is dangerous: drivers who text and drive. I don’t care how ambidextrous or skilled at multi-tasking others can be. It isn’t particularly safe on icy road conditions.

So many of my pet peeves involve driving!  I cannot stand it when someone passes me and then almost immediately puts on their signal to make a right turn.  Why did you pass me!?  I also hate it when people high beam me when they think I’m driving too slowly.  I was driving a bit more cautiously the other day because we were getting a rain/snow mix.  Going around a curve, a car came flying up on my tail and high beamed me.  I get freaked out enough driving in either the rain or the snow, so I didn’t need an idiot behind me who was driving like a maniac.

1.  People who are CHRONICALLY LATE!

2. Bad driving ( we have turn signals for a reason!)

3. Bad customer service! I used to work in customer service, so it irks me.

4. A million pictures of your baby (human baby or fur baby) on your FB every.single.day.

@frabrooke:  Fiance and I actually watched someone die last week for doing a jerk move on an icy highway. He dived out too fast, hit a patch of black ice, rolled into the ditch. I only saw a huge snow drift. The truck’s cab was crushed. 🙁

Yeah, I wish drivers were more understanding during bad weather conditions. Plus, not everyone understands the need for winter tires during icy/snowy road conditions. So, it’s a given that everyone should reduce their speed by at least 10 to 20 km/h.

I have one tonight. People who don’t read the NE driving manual! Holy cow, 5, grrrr 5, idiots pulled up to stop signs having the right of way, flicking headlights and waving arms to get me to go ahead and turn. You have the right of way morons, just effing turn and get out of my damn way! Niceties are not required when you read the damn book.

OK,  feel slightly better now.
