I’m so jealous that you splurged for Jimmy Choos! That was my dream, and I couldn’t let myself spend that kind of money, though I ended up splurging on $300 Kate Spades. 🙂 Those are gor-geous!!

I’d give anything to splurge on some Jimmy Choo’s. For sure. Mine was going 500 over our limit for our D.J. because we wanted different lighting. Everything else has been by the budget.

GORGEOUS shoes! those will be classic and you can wear them forever. Not a splurge… an investment 😉

Mine will probably be on my dress. I just can’t find anything I like for under 1000. I’ve only looked online so far. I’m trying pre-owned sites, but I might end up going 500-700 over on that one.

I doubled my dress budget and also my floral budget so I would say those are my splurges.

Photography!  Looks like I’ll be spending over $2K when all is said and done- although that does include a giant canvas for the home and parents albums, which will probably double as Christmas gifts.

Venue.. can I say that? I know it’s the main part of the wedding but ya, we went over on that one. We also expected more RSVP’s to come back as declines, and now we’re crapping our pants a little LOL.

I feel like getting my hair and make up done is splurging.  I think it’s a total of $375 for both (including trials for both).  Everything else was pretty reasonable, at least I think so!!  I did have to haggle with the florist but their second proposal was much more reasonable.

@sn2bmrsmntgmry:  Ugh!! Yes me too on that one actually. My hair is expensive and I feel like I could do it myself! I just don’t want to worry about it the morning of the wedding.

@MrsSawyer:  That’s exaclty how I feel… I could do it myself BUT it’s my wedding day soooo I am “splurging” and having it done!!!  I’ll probably never do it again LOL

Wow. Your shoes are the cost of my dress! But if you love them and can afford it don’t stress about it too much. Hm, I recently decided to make life easier and hire a pro photograper ($800) which I wasn’t planning to do, so does that count? Or I could count my guest list. I wanted to invite all the family and friends so we’re clsoe to 250 invited!

Our photographer and the tent.  The tent is the one that makes me feel a little crazy since its only shelter for one day.  However, it is beautiful and won’t need to be decorated really.  It’s made out of ship sails and glows when it is lit up.
