I’m walking to the recorded radio version of Dan Fogelberg’s Longer

(I’ve waited for Fiance for almost 25 years so it’s fitting)

Someone a while ago posted a link to the MP3 for it, but I plan on walking to an instrumental version of “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds.

I plan on using “Tis the Gift to be Simple”, played on either violin or piano.  I got the idea from a Babysitter’s Club book.

The instumental version of “New American Classic” by “Taking Back Sunday”, but there’s no such thing as an instrumental version, so my friend is playing it on his acoustic guitar, and I’m hiring the top violinist at my sister’s college to accompany him. It’s going to sound beautiful! The song has a lot of meaning for the two of us.

@mrs.folks:  LOL! It’s my fave because of the video! You have to see it if you haven’t already! I just love it and think it’s very sweet.

Since our proposal was a Legend of Zelda theme, I’m walking down the isle to a pretty harp rendition of “Great Fairy’s Fountain”.

“Hand in my Pocket” by Alanis Morissette. Dancing down the aisle to boot.

Walking up the aisle to “Passing By” by Zero 7. Its soft and lovely and has a special meaning for us. I know I’m going to be crying!

Also, at my sister’s wedding several years ago, a friend played “Stairway to Heaven” on a piano and it was AWESOME. I highly recommend it.

Vitamin String Quartet cover of “A Thousand Years” I don’t like the Twilight movies, but this song is beautiful and has just the right amount of drama for an entrance IMO.

My Fiance and his mom will be walking into “Morning Breaks” fromt he Romeo and Juliet soundtrack. Also very pretty, a little more mellow. I also really like the instrumental version of “Kissing You” from Romeo and Juliet. although I’m a little obsessed  with the movie, so I might be biased.

@Mrs.Metalm:  haha, I love that! It’s very pretty.

I think I’m going to do “Going to the Chapel” by the Dixie Cups. It’s fun and upbeat.

Lol am I the only one doing the traditional Wagner “Bridal March” on a pipe organ?
