beetobee255:  We are having a 4 tier cake and each tier is a different flavour. We are choosing not to keep the top tier as both fiance and I don’t personally care for that tradition. Our top tier is Lemon with Lemon butter cream (have a few lemon fans in the family) 2nd tier is Red Velvet with vanilla butter cream, 3rd tier is Marble cake with vanilla butter cream and 4th tier is Chocolate with chocolate butter cream.  I knew I wanted a chocolate and vanilla layer each since those are what most cakes are when you go to events but it just so happened my baker was willing to do all 4 tiers a different flavour so wanted to add in a couple different flavours that others would love too!

We’re going with vanilla cake lightly flavoured with lime, with mango curd and buttercream icing, myself and a friend are making it. My FI is Jamaican so I wanted to bring a bit of Caribbean feel with the mango flavour.

We’re having cupcakes so we got different flavors. Ours are lemon with raspberry filling, banana with caramel filling, and french vanilla with no filling.

We are having a five layer cake. The top we will be saving (chocolate and mocha filling). Two layers will be almond with raspberry filling and the other two will be carrot cake with apricot filling.

We’re having three different flavors – one is pistachio with pistachio buttercream, another is apple pie cake with toffee crunch buttercream, and the final flavor is pumpkin pecan cake with pumpkin cheesecake filling. They sound wild but all taste so amazing. I intend to eat a slice of each at the wedding. Can’t wait

beetobee255:  We are having two flavors: vanilla cake with with maple filling and fresh blueberries in the filling and then coconut cake with pineapple filling… they were delicious and kind of work because our wedding is in New England (think maple and blueberries) and our honeymoon is in Hawaii! (think pineapple and coconut!) and I think between the two flavors there’s something for everyone.

I love the traditional nut flavors but decided to go nut free since we have guests with allergies, don’t want to risk it!

beetobee255:  Our flavour is not very original, it’s chocolate cake with vanilla icing. We both love our chocolate and dislike fruit cake so we just thought chocolate would hopefully be liked by most people
