Since he picked my engagement ring, I get to pick out the wedding rings. I’m thinking white gold/stainless steel for him, with the classic domed band.
Since he picked my engagement ring, I get to pick out the wedding rings. I’m thinking white gold/stainless steel for him, with the classic domed band.
Heres the one he picked and loves so much that he is wearing it all the time even though we just got engaged!
We just ordered FH’s on Friday! He decided to go with a Cobalt ring, plain comfort band. He drives a truck and loads/unloads heavy copper piping so he didn’t want anything that could bend or scratch easily…we were leary of Tungsten and Titanium and gold wasn’t an option…so Cobalt was it.
My pick for my Fiance would be a simple plain band, not too thick, with a but of a dome, in a white metal – which funnily enough is exactly what he picked with no prompting. We looked at platinum, but he’s not fussed enough to make the price worth it, so it’ll probably be white gold.
He’ll to take it off regularly for work so I am worried that he’ll lose it – for that reason cheaper is probably better.
I orignally wanted Fiance to to pick palladium to match my set, but a plain palladium band in his size would be more than we’re comfortable spending. I found a tungsten ring that I really liked for him, then found out that tungsten’s not great for people with nickel senstivities. Then we found titanium. He chose a two-toned (black and polish) band that looks amazing. I can’t wait until the wedding so he can wear it. I first didn’t 100% agree with a black ring, but I figured that he let me pick every aspect of my engagement ring, so he should be able to pick his wedding band. I’ve since come around to the idea and truthfully, I’m just overjoyed that he wants to wear a band at all =)
carmensita1: Cobalt. It’s scratch resistant and can be cut off in an emergency.
His is palladium and 14K rose gold which he chose himself because he likes the look of mixed metals. I ordered mine in 14K rose gold because I dislike white metals on me, and it sort of matches his that way.
My hubby has a damascus steel wedding band. We ordered it from an Etsy shop called DCillusion which is located in Geneva, Switzerland. And let me tell you…it is an exquisite piece of work! I’ve never seen anything like it which is why we were both so fond of ot in the first place. It’s so different and unique and my hubby loves it!!!
My fiance just went with a plain, 4mm, comfort dome stainless steel ring. He got our anniversaries engraved on the inside. It cost him about $14 after shipping.
