I’m not very adventurous with my hair. It’s a boring light brown, and I hadn’t dyed it before, but I recently chopped a chunk of it off and got a balayage and I love it!

ahartig :  natural platinum blonde is pretty awesome though, most women pay a fortune to gets that 😉

i have dark chocolate brown hair, would love to do something with it but it’s going to cost so much to upkeep as my hair grows so fast. Looking for inspo!

My hair these days is naturally a darker blonde. My hair has ash blonde hair lights and my natural colour running through it. I’m getting an ombre next month from an amazing colorist so very excited about that.

My hair is level 2 (dark brown) and kinda boring. You can really only tell that it’s brown in the sun. I had copper highlights years ago and I’m playing with the idea of either getting them again or ombre. I used to relax my hair but have been gradually growing it out for 2+ years now so I just have a couple inches of straight ends left, but I’m not ready to chop them. I’d be worried that the color wouldn’t take evenly if I tried it right now so I’ll be boring for a little while longer lol

anabolina :  Natural is darker brown but currently a light brown. I use a lightener sometimes but not regularly.

My hair is naturally medium brown with highlights. It was its natural color for the wedding. I now dye it kind of a “grungy purple” baylage (I LOVE the baylage trend because it lets me be lazy in color upkeep, and also I only have to use one box of dye on my enormous head of hair). The purple needs to be re-done every few weeks, which is kind of annoying but expected.

I work in health tech in a casual office. When I’m onsite with clients, I generally pull it back into a bun which mostly hides the purple. It hasn’t been an issue at work.

I have boring medium brown hair that I usually dye a couple shades darker.  I got bored with that and this summer I’m going blonde.  It takes time though. My boyfriend like the “stripes”. I did do red once, it didn’t look that great though.

anabolina :

i totally feel you on this bee!

i was Bright pink for about a year. A few weeks ago i went back to my blonde balyage to be more “bridal” and to feel like i wont be judged on my wedding day. But i absolutely hate it. I felt so bored and whenever i did my hair i was not happy. So with the advice on my thread and people super close to me…ive decided to go back to my vibrant pink. Even though i may not have this hair colour 5 years from now…ill be able to look at my wedding photos and know that i felt beautiful at that time in my life. Who cares what anyone thinks.

youre hair looks gorgeous!

desiderata :  same!  I have natural red hair and have never dyed it.  It is on the darker side so it’s not like “carrot top red”.  I went to buy hair extenstions for the wedding and was surprised to find a color that actually blends in pretty well.  It’s a chestnut brown!

I have brown hair, some parts can look lighter due to sun bleach tho. I’ve always wanted to do fun colors, but last time I did that it completely killed my hair. I’ve kept my hair natural for 5 years now. The only thing I do is straighten it. My natural hair is wavy. Maybe I’ll try again, but for now, I like how healthy it is 🙂

i have brown hair and got purple, blue, green, and fuschia  highlights for the wedding. i loved it so much i’ve been keeping it up ever since. my stylist did it so that i can either display all the colors as i did at the wedding, or kind of hide them a little behind brown hair.

Purple! Eventually, I want to go with a more silver/gray purple, but this is fun for now. 🙂

I love everyone’s hair photos!

Ashy blonde with my natural super dark brown shadow root. I go get my hair done professionally and then use oVertone PastelSilver to make it more ashy like I want. Idk why but the salon never makes it like I want. They always leave lots of yellowish tint. I recently got the pastel purple and I’m tempted to see what it would do. It’s supposed to be good to cancel out brass.
