First, it looks like you only have half an hour listed for the ceremony, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it taking an hour.

That looks like a good amount of time to me, assuming it’s all in one place. Ends in time for people to go get dinner on their own. I’d fit toasts in the lunch, and end the lunch with the cake cutting, and ‘open’ the dance floor then, with first dances if you’re having those.

I don’t think you have to have “intros” in there if everybody’s moving from event to event together, but if you do, they belong after cocktail hour.

Where do photos fit in?

You’ll want to save a good 45 minutes  for photos for just you and the groom.  about 20-30 for family and bridal party.

Ugh I havn’t made a schedule yet, that’s next on my list…

We are having hair and make up being done at my parents house (Me, 5 BMs). I have no idea what time we should get ready! We’ll leave at 2:30 for venue (we’re 10 minutes away).

-Pictures with bridal party and family (2:30-4:30)

-Hide and refresh

-Ceremony 5pm

-Cocktail hours 5:30-6:30

Then I am stuck here: I want Fiance and I to be introduced, no idea when. No idea how long dinner will be. No idea when to do cake, first dance, toast from Maid/Matron of Honor and best man…ugh!!!

to OP: I think 5 hours is enough: our ceremony is at 5pm and recepton ends at 10:30, so I am only at 5.5

I have been pretty on top of everything, but this day-of schedule is one of those things that stresses me out to think about it…so I just don’t! I have a basic idea, but the details and unknowns are making me crazy–what time hair/makeup comes, florist, pictures, trolley, etc.

7:15 Entree, other dances

7:45 Cut the cake

8:00 Dancing

9:00 Bouquet/Garter

10:00 Cheesesteaks arrive

10:30 End

This is what we have come up with – although I’m sure the times will change! (I just copied and pasted from the wedding party ‘newsletter’)

Morning: If you are interested in coming to the barn to lend a hand we would love you for it, but by no means is it “required.”

12:00pm: Arrive at Pettigrew Spa for an afternoon of Nails, Hair and Makeup!

4:00pm: Arrive at Jess and Andrew’s house for the following (Gregg to arrive at this time)

  • Eat Dinner (Sub Platters, Fruit, Salads and Drinks will be provided)
  • Get Dressed and Grab Flowers
  • A few Bridal and Bridesmaid Portraits with Photographer

5:30pm:  Leave for Venue

6:00pm: Immediate Family, Bridal Party, and Bride and Groom Photos on Site and by the Lake (weather permitting).

7:00pm: Ceremony Begins

7:20pm(roughly): Ceremony Ends. Guests are free to play lawn games, enter barn for a drink, mingle and chit chat.

8:00pm: Everyone seats themselves in the barn. Jess and Andrew enter for first dance.

8:10pm: Cake Cutting

8:15pm: Toasts

8:45pm: Slideshow

9:00pm: Food Truck arrives and dancing begins!

2:00am: We must be out of Venue by this time. You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here!
