My dreeeeam Honeymoon would include a destination wedding at a Scottish Castle. Then we would tour Europe and Asia using the Transiberian Railroad. It would take months. We would hit up London, Germany, Belgium and then spend a long time in Russia, and finally end our trip in Beijing. I would buy crazy antiques and have them shipped home.We would drink Guiness in the UK, Monk beer in Belgium and lots of vodka in Russia.
A girl can dream right?
So what is your dream honeymoon? Be lavish and don’t hold back 🙂

My dream honeymoon would be to travel around Europe for a month or two. Basically see everything, Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Russia, everything. Being able to take the time off and just take our time, stay in nicer hotels and just do things at our own pace. I would love to do that but we can’t right now. Hopefully before we start having kids we will be able to do a trip like that on a smaller scale.

haha oh my goodness girls that sounds like so much fun!!
I think I would want to road trip to Mendocino california and stay in this little B&B that I love. then take a flight from Cali to a Pacific Island, and stay in an exclusive all-inclusive resort where we can lay in the sun and drink margaritas, take scuba diving lessons, go a couple miles up the beach and swim by ourselves and just be together… I looove warm weather!

WOW, LIttleAudrey! That is quite a honeymoon! My dream honeymoon, and hopefully we can do this, is to backpack southeast Asia for three months. I want to go to Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Burma, and the Philippines. Oh, I so hope we can do this!

I’ve been to Europe a few times, but I would really like to see the places I’ve been again and to fill in the gaps in between. So I would start in Europe- Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece. Hopefully we would be able to spend a while at some islands or coastal areas in the Mediterranean. Then I would hop a flight and go to Australia and New Zealand. Then hit up a few more islands in either the South Pacific or Caribbean. Sounds reasonable, right?? 🙂

My dream Honeymoon is a year long trip around the world.
I love the honeymoon that we are going on, a week diving on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia then a week of more diving in Fiji.

I am pretty close to my dream honeymoon. We are going to Sandals St. Lucia for 6 days and staying in the Honeymoon Grand luxe Oceanview Walkout room. My dream would have been for us to stay at Sandals St. Lucia for longer and stay in the Millionare’s Suites.
But I am greatful that we are going on a honeymoon because everyone is not able to do so.

I’m so with Ms. Caniche on this one – a round the world trip! I so hope to be able to do that some day.

Actually, something a little similar to the OP. I would love to slowly travel the Siberian Railroad route, getting off in various places, then touring Moscow and St. Petersburg. My favorite novels are Russian (War and Peace, Dr. Zhivago), and Fiance has an art minor with a specialty in Russian art. It would be awesome.

I would love to take a year and get one of those around the world flights with unlimited stops (and of course visas for everywhere).
Those of you who dream of the Transiberian Railroad, maybe you can enlighten me. Fiance suggested we do this after a colleague of his rode it from Germany to China. However, he also told me you are pretty much living on the train and that’s the part that lost my interest – no showers, small cabins and it is a long trip. Is there another way to do this?

3 weeks in greece 🙂 2 weeks around the mainland finishing off with a week on the islands!

I just noticed I posted Honeymoom, not Honeymoon 🙂
Slicey19, I’m pretty sure you can leave the train for a few days, check your bags in a hotel, sightsee, and get back on the next one. That way you could stop yourself from being claustrophobic!
These all sound like awesome trips. I know mine is waaaaay too big. We would probably get tired midway, but this is of course with my fantasy unlimited budget where we could stop for days to rest up before getting back on the road.
Another part of this is that some of my favorite novels are Russian (Master and Margarita), just like Monitajb, so it would be awesome to read them while in Russia. Realistically, my fiance and I will probably do a scaled-down version of this, probably hitting up 2-3 countries.
