NFLwidow:  thank you!!! I can’t wait to have the finished piece-eventually! Lol I’m in the process of acquiring an old euro with my jewler and now have to pick a temporary solitaire setting while the master piece is being assembled which will take some time to find the right sapphires. All in all I’m patient and can wait some more for my perfect ring. Going in, had no expectations for the ring and Fiance picked one himself and it was a total surprise but when I saw that 7 stone bezel 2 years later, I knew it was “the one” lol funny how things can change and he’s totally on board. 😀

I had 2 versions of a dream ring. For my actual engagement ring, my DR was a yellow gold solitare with a thick band. My Darling Husband totally nailed it. He had it custom made and added sapphires to it. A few years later, I fell in love with asscher cut diamonds and landed a job in my chosen career field, so I started saving for a RHR.

Actual RHR!  I think I came pretty close 🙂

I didnt really have a dream ring before getting engaged.

We got engaged at 19, so I picked something Ireally liked and we could afford.  I really liked at the time, and still do, how thick the band is

5 years ago I found quad cut rings and really liked them. Went to a store and found one with 9 stones the manager had made. Loved it so got it. I have it sized for my right hand now

Then from weddingbee I found moissanite. Fell in love because of the sparkle. My hubby bought one and we custom made my ring, which I’ve had for a year now. Even though I didn’t have a dream ring before, this is my dream ring. I have found nothing I like more. I stare at it all the time. I can think of nice rings I like as right hand rings, but absolutely adore my wedding rings. definitely my dream ring 😊

Also impatiently waiting! I would love a 4 carat solitaire moissanite. My girlfriend knows this. I’m sure she’d be proud to see me with a huge rock!

This tacori ring was my dream ring for years. I think he did an amazing job recreating it.

I love my ring, he did so well.

BUT… I would one day love a big, ol’ solitaire.

2.5 ct. round

3 ct. emerald

Or even just a bigger version of mine!

3 ct. cushion

THIS. Although it’s not a far cry from my plain shank 3 stone white gold. He did good.

This is just more flowy, and I can’t say no to rose gold!

So I saw the Great Gatsby last night, don’t know why it took me so long, but oof Daisy Buchanan’s ring knocked the wind outta me. Definitely dream ring. I know half the appeal was the scene’s cinematography with the white drapery and the music and the sparkling chandeliers but really…

I mean…

Drooling aside, I’d have to be a billionaire’s wife to relax enough to enjoy that rock on that skinny little band…so impractical, so gloriously “of course I have servants.”
