Our budget is about 1.5 months’ salary. I wanted it to only be 1 month but the center stone I could get for one month was way too small. We ended up JUST shy of our budget, under by about $50

  1. We didn’t have a budget but my ering ended up being about 2 months salary and my band another 1 months salary (total of approx $6500). We are both recent graduate RNs and have a mortgage so spending a ton just wasn’t practical. I got exactly what I wanted regardless. My perfect ring.

My fiance picked out a $4000 ring and got it for $1200. It’s beautiful! 🙂

Originally he had picked out a ring that was 3500 but he asked me if I didn’t mind getting a temp ring until he could afford it and of course I said yes and we decided to pick out one together after he surprised me with the temp one and the one I’m pretty sure I’m getting is 770

My bf and I dont have our big girl or boy job. He’s looking for one full time instead of two part time, and I have two more semesters to go.

I told him I wasn’t delusional we arent rich so I told him no more than $2500. I also wanted a gemstone center stone so that helped a lot with this.

We set a budget of a little less than one months salary then we got carried away and almost spent triple that so almost 3 months salary then I realized how ridiculous that was and found a ring for less than one month salary 🙂 and I couldn’t be happier! I am a little shocked at how much  some peoples budgets are! wish me and my hubby were making that kinds money! Lol but even if we were I don’t think I could spend it on a ring

No budget but I ordered her a custom moissy e-ring for about $1100 and I imagine my e-ring will be in the $1000 range. We’re going to order matching wedding bands that will probably be in the $1500-2000 range for both. So all together, we’re looking at $4000 max for 2 engagement rings and wedding bands. We both need new cars, are getting our 1st place soon and I’ll be entering grad school as a full time student within the next year. Spending a ton of money on rings just isn’t plausible.
