I love this thread! I love beer so much. My tastes tend to run towards Belgians and/or nutbrowns; FI’s tastes run to the hoppiest IPAs he can find, and/or Belgians. So in the fridge we have a beer shelf, one side his, one side mine. ๐Ÿ™‚

My current favorite beers are a local Belgian-style tripel (Ale Asylum’s Tripel Nova, for anyone in WI) and Dogfish Head’s Punkin Ale. Fiance is gaining a lot of steam with his home brewing, so we’re actually hoping to have all the beer at the wedding brewed by him!

I really like Alexander Keiths but my favorite would have to be Heineken. ๐Ÿ™‚

Dead Guy is my fave! And a second on the Fat Tire. Living in Oregon for some years spoiled me with awesome beers.

I LOVE BEER! My go-to is Newcastle. I also like Anchor Steam, Fat Tire, and anything really dark and stout-y. I will order anything on the menu described as chocolate stout, oatmeal stout, etc…….and my all-time love is the pumpkin ales that are seasonal to this time of year!

Does Framboise count as beer?  I say it does and DH says it doesnt!  But if it does, that is my only favority beer because I cant stand the taste of regular beer!

@Redeemed Rebekah: ditto on the Keiths.  Mmmm!

Has anyone else tried Bud Light Lime?  That was definitely my summer beer.  It doesn’t have a nasty after taste which is perfect if you’re drinking for a long period of time.  Believe me, the sixth bottle tasted the same as the first.

If I want a dark beer, Guinness is the obvious choice. ๐Ÿ™‚  If I want a light beer, I usually go for Sweetwater 420.

I real love Schlafly. It’s a micro-brewery in St. Louis. They have really good ales, both pale and wheat.

I also like Blue Moon and Leinenkugel.

Mmm…regular ole beers?  Guinness, and Red Stripe, Abita Amber (sentimental), PBR (again sentimental, but who can hate a beer that costs 2 bucks?).  Fancy schmancy?  Ommegang Vitte, Abbey (New Belgium Brewing), Reissdorf Kolsch

In the summer: Rickards White. I love the citrus in it.

In the winter: Usually something darker like Guinness. Or this amazing chocolate beer that I had in NYC last May… That was super yummy, but they don’t have it up here in Canada…

@Sage I never thought I would see another Shiner lover on here. I don’t drink, I am allergic but I will consent to sharing a Shiner with my boy from time to time. If that is not available then Honey Brown
