I have never used one that is not chipping after 24 hours. Sally Hansen Salon Manicure is good one, and I love the way it applies, but it chips too. I even used polymer shield on it, and it chips nevertheless. The only option is probably the Gelish, gel nail polish that is not chipping for 21 days. Though I never tried it for 21 days, but I had it once on my gel nails, which I had to remove on the 2nd day, and the gel polish felt and looked pretty solid and didn’t come off even when I bit.

I like OPI, but maybe it chips? Mine never did, but I think you need to make sure you do the clear top coat.

I find that any nail polish that is the “nail strength” “nail growth” kind won’t chip for a good amount of time. I love the Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle, the colours are amazing.

Opi for colours, especially dark ones. Sally Hansen for their Hard as Nails Diamond clear base coat.

My nails always chip, always- but OPI and China Glaze last the longest! I’ve been trying to get into Essie but the colors I’ve tried have painted on kind of cheap looking. It could be the colors I chose though!

I am an OPI girl. Have you heard of a Shellac manicure? it is supposed to be a 2 week “permanent” polish. I am definitely considering it for my wedding.

Another vote here for OPI. I am currently wearing “Break a Leg Warmer”, probably my favorite polish. It’s dark gray. I do like China Glaze as well.

I use Maybelliene Express Finish as a clear coat. Their polishes are pretty good to, if you want something less expensive.

I am currently wearing Sally Hansen Hard As Nails – Gunmetal with Nicole – Justin Bieber One Less Lonely Girl purple glitter on top.   Don’t be jealous!

Used to be exclusive to OPI Tanga but have branched out to include almost every brand of nail polish but mainly OPI, Nicole, Sally Hansen, Essie and that cheap brand at Walgreens that comes in all the fun colors. 🙂  But I do use this Essie No Chip top coat that works great, and the OPI chip stop underneath it all.  I wash my hands a lot so I never expect my nails to last.

My sis tried the no chip manicure and she said it was like having acrylics except they don’t file your nails down first.  Very hard to get off!  She soaked in chemical grade acetone for 5 minutes before it even started to budge.

OPI for color.

Seche Vite makes the best base coat.

Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails is a very strong top coat.

Apply all of the layers (base, color, and top), and make sure you let each coat dry before applying the next one. It takes a while longer, but it’s totally worth it.

I love Essie. So easy to put on and everlasting. I make such a mess out of other nail polishes.
