I make my own with cornstarch, cocoa powder (I have brown hair), and a few drops of essential oil and put it in a salt shaker. It smells like whatever you want it to smell like, super cheap, works amazing.

I’ve used Batiste for blondes in the past, it has a little tint in it so it helps conceal some roots as well if you have any 🙂
ETA: Like the bee above me I make my own now too but with baby powder, after I use that up I’ll switch over to corn starch.

Drybar brand. It’s awesome and smells fantastic.

I use Moroccan Oil dry shampoo occassionally but after reading this thread I will give corn starch a try.

Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black. I like that it doesn’t smell powdery like most dry shampoos.

Umberto, sold at Target. It has the finest particles of any I have tried, zero scent, and is amazing. I once went 5 days (to test it out) without washing my hair, and only washed out of principle. I even give it to friends in a goody basket as gifts. And a little goes a long way.

I have that–it came with a set–but I’ve never tried it. I’ll have to dig it out and give it a try.

Batiste and Living Proof’s Perfect Hair Day are the only dry shampoos I’ve found to work for me, and I get extremely oily. I used to have to use baby powder but I can’t stand the smell and it made my hair look super washed out. I have brown hair so I use the Batiste brunette dry shampoo. It smells amazing.

I use suave. I prefer the gold bottle, which is the keratin formula. However, Target had a 2 for 1 on the silver bottle, which is just a generic “for all hair types,” so I’m using that right now. It’s ok. I do find that I have to be very careful with how close I spray, so it doesn’t leave my hair white. The gold bottle is a little more forgiving.

Intriguing. About how much is that?

Not technically dry shampoo, nor is it sold at a drug store, but Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray changed my life. I use it as dry shampoo or for added volume after washing my hair. It’s the most expensive hair product I use (aside from shampoo and conditioner) but it’s SO worth it.

The only one I like is the Cake brand powder. All the other ones make my hair feel gross, but the cake powder (which is probably just vanilla scented baby powder lolz) makes my hair feel normal.
