I make my own exfoliator. It’s a simple mixture of coconut oil, brown sugar, and cinnamon. It’s stuff that I usually have on hand which is alwasys a plus 🙂

PinkPearls:  I love the St Ives scrubs – there are different ones for different skin types and they’re all cheap!

PinkPearls:  I currently use Mary Kay’s botanicals face mask. It’s a really nice and gentle scrub. I’ve also used the St. Ives ones before too. I really liked the apricot one. Both are pretty cheap.

European Wax Centers The Exfoliate is amazing! Its an enzymatic gel concoction. It’s meant for post wax to help avoid ingrowns but I use it on my face, it’s seriously the best stuff ever. You leave it on for about 30 seconds then start rubbing in circles and your dead skin just sloughs off and then your face feels like a babys bottom. This is a holy grail exfoliator… but it’s $38 for 2 oz. I’ve heard Sallys sells something quite similar though.

I know you said <$30, but this stuff is seriously amazing and lasts forever:

I have super sensitive, dry skin, and this cream doesn’t irritate my skin at all. Physical exfoliants tend to be too harsh for my skin. The only problem is this stuff $59, but like I said, it will last forever (I use a pea-sized amount once a week or so). Leaves my skin soft and hydrated.

I use Lush’s Ocean Salt scrub a couple times a week and I absolutely love it. The ingredients are all natural, and it leaves my skin soft and bright.

I use the Paula’s Choice BHA and AHA exfloiants and they are amazing. No scrubbing or rubbing which makes my skin irritated, and they leave my skin so smooth and glowy. They do sample sachets too which is really good if you aren’t sure.

missmunch:  I love those! I mix BHA 1% gel with my toner. I can’t remember the last time I had a breakout 🙂

ninnybee:  +1 on the St Ives scrubs. I use the apricot one and have super sensitive skin. Works wonders and smells great. My skin is so soft and it evened out my complexion!  The exfoliants are all natural (not those evil microbeads😜), it has no Sulfates, paraben free, oil free and hypoallergenic. It also doesn’t clog pores. 🙂

I love St. Ives and a buf puf. I also use tretinoin 0.1% at night.
