Darling Husband and I both caved and bought Girl Scout cookies from different groups on the same day. He got Thin Mints and I got Samoas, funny thing is they were for each other! His favorite is the Samoa, while mine is the classic Thin Mint. I’m also a sucker for the Trefoil. When I was a Girl Scout they had a cookie with chocolate fudge bottoms and stripes that I loved too.
In case you’re hunting for some cookies or don’t know what your favorite is called, check them out here: http://www.girlscoutcookies.org/
So now that it’s cookie season, what’s your favorite?

Wow, there are so many selections! I chose mint because I LOVE THEM!! But I only thought there were three kinds – mint, vanilla and chocolate! Maybe in Canada it’s different? Or maybe I’m reaaallly out of the loop, lol.

@rosegirl: I also love the thin mints completely frozen!

The thing is, I can find generic-ish versions of all of the types of girl scout cookies- except for the samoas! There is nothing at the grocery store that I can compare them to- so for that, samoas are my all time favorite gs cookie!!

I’m not sure if they still make them but I loved the plain Shortbread cookies. Could eat a whole box of those babies!

@soonerpsych:I am in love with girl scout cookies. I buy at least $60-$70 worth each year. I eat as many as I can then I spread the joy and give several boxes away. Yummy!

I’m a big fan of Samoas and Lemon Chalets. Fortunately, I usually have one or two students who sell Girl Scout cookies in my class and I don’t have to go searching for them. Yum!
