just for fun. i realize many Bees may not have changed their names.. but still….any monogrammed items you just absolutely loved?
my Mother-In-Law gave us monogrammed towels – the towels were on registry – but i never mentioned to anyone that i liked monogrammed towels.
i was SO EXCITED when she gave them to us… like, stupid happy. i kinda thought they were old fashioned or outdated but still love them so happy we have them.
we are also really happy to have a new doormat with our last name on it!

This is such a cute Q bee! I’m still engaged so haven’t received anything yet — but I’m eyeing a monogrammed robe to get ready in and a monogrammed sunhat for our honeymoon! Both from Etsy 😊

We didn’t get anything monogrammed and honestly I’m a bit disappointed! DH and I both changed our names so the new last initial for both of us is a big deal! I’m sure I’ll get around to getting something myself eventually. I did have the new last initial as part of our centrepiece and now it lives decoratively in my living room, I do love it!

We aren’t married yet, but my fiancé bought me a ring box, similar to a Mrs.Box but I love it even more! I love rose gold and it is different than any other I have seen!
I never thought I would get into the monogram/initial trend, but I have grown to love it!

I absolutely adore monograms. We were gifted a thermal tote bag with our last initial (I use it for grocery shopping and it makes me stupid happy to carry it around). We were also gifted beautiful bath towels with our last name embroidered on them. I only put them out when we have guests because I’m afraid every day use would ruin them.
I asked DH to get me a monogram necklace for Christmas this year so I’m hoping he does that 😉

Reversible tote from Kate Spade – I love it!!

I just realized that I don’t own a single thing that is monogrammed.

My mom’s friend bought the fadeless towels from our registry and had them monogrammed. As in, she had every single one done down to the smallest washcloth. I thanked her profusely but secretly thought she was nuts. Turns out, I adore them. We have been married for over two years now, and those darn monograms still make me smile every time I step out of the shower in the morning. Plus the thread color she picked looks amazing in my bathroom. If someone had asked me if I wanted towels with monograms, I would have laughed at them. Go figure. I also have a nice LL Bean toiletry bag I bought for our honeymoon with my last initial on it. That makes me smile too, because it reminds me of the excitement and fun of our honeymoon.

I also once gave a gift of a glass casserole dish with the couple’s last name etched on it with a design, and a monogrammed thermal bag to carry it in. The bride seemed excited about it. I am one of those weird people that sometimes enjoys going off registry, because I personally love getting fun surprises and not always expected gifts. We got a lovely matching beer and wine glass set from a cousin who had then etched with images of trees with our first initials carved into the trees. I enjoy stuff like that, though I know not everyone does.

I had this shirt monogrammed to get ready the day of our wedding. I absolutely love it because it is the first thing I have had with my new monogram! (No I wasn’t mad… I just have an intense case of RBF… lmao)
The towels are such a cute idea! I may have to steal this for a future wedding gift!

Oh the simple things. I loved seeing my new name everywhere. We received sheets that were monogrammed. I love them too! My husband gave me a piece of art with my new name ‘Mrs. Broker’ on it. Just seeing your name makes it all real somehow. If you go here http://www.mydreamlines.com/how-it-works/photo-gallery/ under wedding dress and suit sketch my art is the second one (apricot color). My only bit of fame, so I am pretty chuffed. <3

Nothing monogrammed but, somewhat similarly, DH’s last name is a fruit and people keep talking about getting us things with that fruit on it or signs that make a play on the last name.
I did not take his last name and his family is a little un-excited about my decision. The idea of being called “The Bananas” or “Mr. & Mrs. Pineapple” is so cringey to me, I am hoping not to receive anything like this at our upcoming post-wedding party lol

I’m getting married in December (so close!!) and I wanted to get the girls in my bridal party monogrammed gifts, but happened to stumble upon these bridesmaid and maid of honor bracelets. They’re so cute! I bought them at kristinsjewelry.com just in case you’re thinking of getting something similar! Congrats to all my fellow brides!!! <3
