I don’t have one but my favorite is opal.   I LOVE opal.

There was tons of larimar jewellry being sold when I was in the dominican, it was beautiful.

+1 for opal. I did some research on it as an alternative e-ring, but discovered the real thing is very expensive. Black opal is beautiful.

Labradorite! I love the blue-green iridescence!

I also like tiger’s eye. It looks like it’s lit from within:

Will translucent suffice?  I’m a chrysoprase fanatic.  I collect pieces from the 20s and 30s.

Pearls, pearls, pearls! I LOVE them! I think they are so classic and beautiful.

ETA: We considered a pearl e-ring, but I was worried about its durability for daily wear. But I wear so much other pearl jewelry!

@Aquaria:  I love pearls!  I always wear pearls for my earrings and necklace.  I have been really wanting a pearl bezel RHR lately.  Something like this…

@Aquaria:

There are a lot of pretty ones, I like the white ones, but the fire opals are just mesmerizing.

@MsW-to-MrsM:

I saw an AMAZING opal ring when we were shopping for promise ring, I wanted it so bad (and it was way way cheaper than the actual promise ring I ended up getting) but the stone is really soft, so I would have only been able to wear it for occasions, not for every day, which was pointless for me  🙁   I work in a garage, I’m always working with my hands.

My favorite color is green so I like jade and jadeite.  I love turquoise and lapis as well.
