@MsPiggy: Do you mean Orphan? Or The Orphanage? (I like both!)

There is a movie called High Tension. Aboslutely Awesome!! It’s kind of considered a foreign film but with no subtitles. total good twisted type horror!
Texas Chainsaw Massacre by far my numero uno! Original or Remake, I LOVE leatherface as a villian!
Frailty, plus has Matthew Mcconaughey! squee! is also a psychological horror movie, not like monster horror but still very good, almost like the movie Seven, Love that one too!
Woman In Black! Super scary!
The Shining, love Jack Nicholson!!
And of course I own nearly every zombie movie made! I truly love the B rated ones the best, just so raw! lol I love Halloween and scary movies!
as for a classic you can’t go wrong with Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm Street (original only, no one will ever top Robert Englund) Also the original Wishmaster is pretty good for a classic!

I’m not a big fan of scary movies, so the only one I’ve really bothered to commit to memory was The Amityville Horror (old and new.) Prefer the new because, well, Ryan Reynolds. Is The Sixth Sense considered a horror movie? I like that one.
A lot of my friends seem to like Paranormal Activity. DH said Deliverance; I can’t get through that one. It creeps me out too much.

I thought taht Woman in Black (with Daniel radcliffe) was super creepy!

The Devil’s Backbone
The Orphanage (now being remade in the U.S. as far as I know)
The Sixth Sense
28 Days Later
Dawn of the Dead (remake with Sarah Polley)
Let the Right One In (and Let Me In, which is the American remake)
Ju-On: The Grudge (original Japanese)
I also love The Birds, although I don’t find it scary.

Paranormal Activity 1,2 and 3 I hope the 4th is scary as the 3rd! I loveee Halloween too my birthday is 3 days before Halloween so I’ve always been excited for fall to get here. I also love zombie movies and Mirrors. I have over 100 horror dvds if you need more ideas. 🙂

I didnt think the Woman in Black or any of the Paranormal Activity movies were scary at all.
I love the Orphan and the Orphanage, but I didnt think the Orphanage was scary so much as suspenceful. And it also almost made me cry at the end. The Orphan creeped me out and also made me pissed off. I was so mad for the mother.
I love Dawn of the Dead (remake.) And Rob Zombies Halloween. Quarantine had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, I usually cant stand movies that are supposed to look home made, but I loved it. It actually creeped me out so bad that I havent been able to make myself watch it again.

- Wedding: September 2011 - Bent Creek Winery (Livermore, California); Reception: Family Residence (San Ramon, California)
I’m such a scaredy cat! I seriously close my eyes during trailers for scary movies. But I do like a lot of the old Alfred Hitchcock movies, like Psycho, and The Sixth Sense is really good. Though it still keeps me up after I watch it!

I’m not big on scary movies, but I love The Skeleton Key and The Ring!
Although it’s not scary, my favorite Halloween movie is Hocus Pocus 🙂
Post # 13
I love Hocus Pocus! We usually watch The Nightmare Before Christmas during October.

I love scary/psychological thriller movies but most of the ones I like are foreign movies.
The Ring (both US and Japanese)
The Eye (Hong Kong)
(The US version of “The Eye” and “Shutter” were so bad!)

We just watched Hellraiser(liked it but we didn’t really understand the box thing? Anybody wanna help us out?!) lol, now onto Drag me to Hell.
I also forgot another scary movie that I like, The Others with Nicole Kidman!
