I apologize in advance for the lack of paragraph, but I’m writing from my phone and it sucks. Anyway, Darling Husband and I just bought a Wii, just in time to fight my weight gain from moving to the States, feeding my beer snob brand new Hubby and the holidays. Seriously, not one of the clothes I brought with me at the beginning of the summer still fits me. Scaaaaaary! We don’t have any games so far besides those who come with the Wii board and the Wii itself (Sport and Resort). Do you have any favorite routine with those games or any effective weight loss game? I’m not much of a gym addict (at all) and I love fun games.

This isn’t really marketed as a workout game but I HIGHLY recommend Wii Dance Party!! There are 2 of them and the first one is a pretty good workout and the second one (Wii Dance Party 2) even has a “sweat” option, it’s a little more aimed at being an actual workout.
My Fiance has been very anti-working out lately but we’ve been playing this game a lot and it definitely doubles as a work out! I’m a fairly fit person and I really feel it when I play this game. The first time we played I was sore the next day!
It’s also realllllllly fun 🙂

I have the Wii Sport game and for a good workout I suggest the training module for boxing. They have 3 training modules where you can either hit the bag, dodge bllas your “trainer” throws at you, or spar with your trainer. I also love tennis although the boxing stuff gives me more of a workout.
I have been thinking abt getting the wii fit add-on b/c I keep hearing so much about hoola hooping =)
EDIT: I almost forgot to add Just Dance and Michael Jackson: The Experience. Both of those involve total body movements and you will work up a sweat.

Quick bump because I love the wii!
I mainly use Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 3 for my legs. Once you have enough skill its a Great sweat. Just Dance 2 is fun for anyone to jump on and is a super arm workout. I’m about to order Zumba for the wii since I really enjoy the class version, I’ll have to let you know how it goes!
I use my Wii as my main source of losing weight every time I notice I’ve put some on.
