I’ll admit, I’m not much of a wine drinker. Girls at work are hooked on moscato–light, fruity, sweet, and super easy to drink. I found a great one at the grocery store–Cavit Moscato for $7.
What are you ladies drinking nowadays?

I have been drinking Trader Joes Charles Shaw ( 2 buck chuck ) wines lately, it is surprisingly good and for $2.99, you can’t beat the price.

Some of my favorite grocery stores wines are Barefoot wines, especially their Pinot Grigio. Very affordable (around $6?) and several of the varieties have received high ratings/awards.

I’m seasonal when it comes to wine. During the summer, I love a cold white wine. We’ve been drinking a lot of Matchbook chardonnay the past two summers. I like it because the oak flavor isn’t overwhelming, which seems to be a problem with some chardonnays.
If you ever have the chance to try almond Champagne, do it! It’s amazing. I’m a huge Champagne fan, but that stuff is my all-time favorite.

So I know boxed wines have terrible reputations, but I really like the ones from Target. Wow, I sound so cheap! You would probably like their Reisling. It is sweet, but still crisp. I used it to make a great white Sangria, but enjoyed the leftover wine, too

Depends on the season and on the food, but I’m really enjoying CA central coast Pinot Noirs and Syrahs right now, and sparkling Chardonnays.

I’m with spaniel. I just love a good Pinot Noir from the CA coast. I also really enjoy Verdi’s Raspberry Sparkeltini. It has such a refreshing, light taste…and it’s cheap $6 bucks a bottle!

“Do your friends enjoy red wine?”
“My friends enjoy all wine.”
Sorry, couldn’t resist my favorite SATC quote of all time.
Yeah, I’m not picky with wine. But, if I’m picking, I like things that are cold, bubbly, and not too sweet. When I lived in the brr brr north, I drank more red, but, in general, I go for white, if only because it doesn’t do funny things to the color of my lips. Red-wine-tinged smiles are not cute on me haha.

I’ll drink any Guwertzaminer or Riesling, and will usually do a pinor grigio at events. But my all time favourite particular bottle is an Ehrenfelser from Mission Hill Winery in the Okanagan region… delish!

Lately, I’m digging Lambrusco red wine which I found through Olive Garden (who knew their samples might actually be worthwhile). Love Barefoot Pinot Noir. I’m more of a red wine girl. But a friend gave me a white wine ‘Momo’ from New Zealand and it was pretty good. My fav two currently are from a local vineyard: Petite Red and Cock of the Walk (yes its a weird name) 😉
Gosh, I sound like an alchy haha
Edit: Totally forgot about sangria!!
