We are dancing to "I turn to you" by Christina Aquilera.  Fiance likes it and it is so sweet for us.  I love the Brad Paisley song and we thought about using it – I always cry when I hear it.  We will definitely play it at the reception!

Our first dance song is going to be either "Me and You" by Kenny Chesney or "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts.  Do also love "Then" by Brad Paisley, but think I might play that while the guests are being seated at the wedding!!

Our wedding is vintage themed and we (especially I) love The Notebook so we are dancing to "I’ll be seeing you" by Jimmy Durante. I think we will play Lucky for the cake cutting…either that or The way I am by Ingrid Michaelson.

@ Miss Paris — We’re using "Tell Him" by Lauryn Hill as well :)! It took us a few months to nail it down…we kept flip flopping between that and another song, but we figure it was time to just commit!

 Journey-Faithfully,its not set in stone but when we first got together we always sang it to each other so he really wants it to be our first dance song.

We’ve always known since we first heard the song, that it would be "You & I" the version by Michael Buble. We went to his concert a couple years ago and there was no doubt in our minds.

A couple other good ones are, Keith Urban "Only you can love me this way" or if you want something a little more upbeat, Aretha Franklin "Your all I need to get by".

First Day of My Live by Bright Eyes. It’s an honest song. The video is great too…to see love comes in all shapes and forms.

@alshv2 – My fiance and I love, love, love Matt Nathanson!  Our first kiss was at a Matt Nathanson concert to Sing Me Sweet!  We wanted it as our first dance song, but had a difficult time dancing to it!  But Nathanson will definitely be played at our wedding.

Our first dance song is Ingrid Michaelson’s cover of Elvis’ "Can’t Help Falling in Love."  Got the idea from Miss Powder Puff!

I have come up with;
Make you feel my love – Adele (or by Garth Brooks, they’re both great)
Umbrella – mandy Moore (I love her voice, and version of it)
Luckiest – Ben Folds (I love it, fiance not so much)

there are a few more but those are the top 3

"Steal My Heart Away" by Van Morrison.  We both love Van Morrison, but wanted a song that was our "own".  The lyrics are so beautiful!  🙂  Then we’re segueing into a crazy dance to start the partying.

"When You Say Nothing At All" by Allison Krause. I have always loved this song, but for my FH and I, the lyrics couldn’t be more true. It took him two years of dating and living together before he said those three little words.  He told me from the beginning that he would not say the words again to a woman until he knew with certainty that he was going to spend his life with her.  You may ask how I could stay without that and it was simple. He taught me that simply saying "I Love You" is easy.  Saying I love you when you say nothing at all, means everything. Now, two years later and a million I love you’s later, it never gets old!! Thanks for letting me share!
