I used to use Nars Sheer Glow and I really liked it but it’s pricey. I switched to Fenty Soft Matte Longwear and I think it’s a good in between. It’s a bit cheaper than most Sephora brands but I really like the coverage and it lasts so long.

I’m a recent convert to Erborian’s CC Cream – a little bit goes a long way, it looks FLAWLESS on the skin, and gives a subtle glow. It also doesn’t feel like i’m wearing any at all! A real my skin but better product.

One of the previous bees mentioned the Colourpop Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer and that’s also my go-to for every day. I like it better than the IT cosmetics CC cream which I finds tends to slide around more throughout the day. You also can’t beat the price or the color selection of the Colourpop!

@bluejaybride:  My favorite foundation as an oily skinned girl is Peach Perfect from Too Face. It’s a higher end, so I wear it on weekends and for holidays and special occasions. It looks fantastic, is transfer resistant, and has light olive tones that are hard for me to find with other brands. For every day, I use Revlon oil control, because it has a mineral SPF, and it also controls my oily skin.

I don’t wear foundation every day, but I like Smashbox’s bb cream for days when I want to moisturize and have some coverage. Otherwise, I use Fenty Pro Filt’r. It’s the best I’ve tried.

I use Maskcara Beauty products.  (just a disclaimer, I do sell it).  Coverage is buildable, which is good because I like mine super light.  The product comes in tins, which cost $14.

@coffeebean87:  I like it because I’ve found it to be buildable without looking heavy. I have what most on here would likely consider “maturer” skin, so I need to be even more mindful of not creating a “cake face” by either too heavy a foundation or too many layers, if that makes sense. I’m kinda between two shades some months of the year, so I mix two shades and have had good results. While I LOVE make up and have oodles of it, I always tend towards a more natural makeup look (even if I used a ton to get there!). I’ve never been able to pull off anything else and I’m so envious of those that can rock it.

But the IT CC cream fits into that aesthetic for me.

I used MakeUp Forever for a long time, and liked it, but recently switched to Estee Lauder double wear, and love it.

L’Oreal infallible fresh wear

Tried everything. Dozens of foundations. This one by far wins. It’s economical, breathable, good (buildable) coverage. Winner for me!

Another person who finds the It Cosmetics CC Cream doesn’t agree with me. It’s been a while, but I recall it feeling sort of dry and heavy? I was so surprised! The color and coverage was good but, yeah, you’re mileage may var .

I will use a Maybelline foundation or AOA dropper foundation for everyday.

I love bare minerals tinted moisturizer and w3ll people tinted moisturizer as well.  Right now I’m trying out a tinted moisturizer from Etsy that I like lol. I pretty much never wear full foundations because I don’t like that feeling, and besides super rosy cheeks and an occasional hormonal breakout on my chin I don’t have a lot I want to cover.  I truly loved RMS Beauty uncoverup but the coconut oil or something in it broke me out every time.

i will be trying out It cosmetics after reading these posts however!

I love the skin tint from Glossier. I don’t wear makeup regularly, so this is perfect to just give me a slight tint and make my skin glow but still look extremely natural.

estee lauder double wear, applied with a beauty blender. I’ve tried every foundation there is and this is the one I come back to time and time again. It dries down, doesn’t oxidize and gives a flawless finish. It does come in a lighter coverage version but if that’s your preference I’d recommend buying the original formula and mixing it with your own preferred moisturiser, as it’s better value for money than the lighter coverage double wear product.
