Fiance and I went this morning to get our marriage license. We walk into the county courthouse and the security guard immediately directs us to “check in at that window” — THAT window is the “Indictments” window. We corrected him that we were there for a marriage license… so then as we are leaving he makes a point to tell us to “stay out of that side of the building” (The criminal court area)

We live in an affluent suburb on the other side of the county and though we live in a modest home I was half tempted to name drop the city we are from to shut him up.

Nothing like a little casual racism to start the morning! yell

My mother in law called me early this morning, waking me and hubby up “just to talk” because none of her boys (sons and husband) were answering. Like I don’t mind calling her and chatting but it was early for such an irrelevant conversation.

Getting my bil to do anything is like pulling teeth 😭 many bees know my backstory, I care a lot about his kids (he was recently widowed in 2018 and has three kids) and he’s welcomed my involvement but some phone calls I can’t make. That’s my vent of the day, I feel a bit cursed for caring so much about the kids because I get so frustrated because it can be like talking to a brick wall sometimes

Then I get upset with myself for not minding my own business. Sometimes I don’t let myself win!

sarbear21 :  could it be tmj? My flare ups of tmj give me massive ear pain, it’s because of the location of your jaw

You could try to put a hot pack on that joint and see if it reduces the pain, I put a wet wash cloth in the microwave so it’s nice and warm

Minor inconsiderate acts just piss me off no end. My landlady is busy selling her house and she keeps directing people who come and look at it to park in front of my garage. Every time. So if I wanted to go out I would have to come through and bug them to move their car. And there is a perfectly good visitor’s parking space right next to it.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Finally I said to her, in front of the prospective buyers, “maybe you could ask people to park in the visitor’s parking space in future?” At least she had the decency to look a little sheepish.

But really. REALLY?!

Co-worker screwing up her job 3 times today and wanting me to bail her out yet again, and when she hears no, I’m too busy, gets all offended and butt hurt.  Dang, pay attention, stay out of other people’s business  and do your job and you won’t have to keep begging people to fix your problems!

I have gotten up, folded laundry, did dishes, cooked lunch, swept & mopped, all while my husband has been snoring away in bed. It’s 12:33 here. But that being said, he hardly EVER gets time off, so I don’t mind, usually. But today it’s annoying me for some reason lol

My fridge wasn’t cooling anything yesterday and I had a repairman come today and said it would cost 800-1000 to fix. We were just looking at getting a new couch but I guess that will have to wait since we now need a new fridge. Ughhh

Oh here’s another, our 12 week old husky keeps popping all over the house. I know, that’s a part of raising an animal, but today it’s just too gross for me. Lol. My vents are very irrational, I know I know
