That would be cute! I saw something like that on Four Weddings once. We are doing a photobooth so the guests will get 2 sets of pics. One set for them and the other to put in our scrapbook with a little note.

Our photography package includes an engagement photo book that you can use as a guestbook so we are going to use that.

Since our reception is very rustic and earthy (lots of candles, burlap, tobacco canvas, mason jars, tree stumps, branches, etc) we are having our guests contribute to our “Wedding Tree”  art on canvas.

They will “leaf” a thumbprint and sign their names next to it, and when it’a all over we can hang it in our house :o)

We had a signature platter.  It’s hanging in our kitchen and I’m reminded of our wedding day on a regular basis.

I love your idea!  What will you have it made of and what will the guest sign with?

we ordered a print from an awesome local artist, (we have several of his paintings in our living room)

we are having our reception guests sign the mat (as a bonus the artist signed the mat for us too)

@panterapeach: That’s what my sister and her hubby did, but they put a wedding photo inside the mat.

We are having our guests sign our Ansel Adams photography book.  It’s a coffee table size and we’re planning on asking them to sign next to a picture that they love.  It’s perfect for us because we love his work and wanted a book anyway!
