Born in the US and 100% Polish! Although, you would never guess it by my appearance. I get told I look Irish because of my pale skin, dark red hair and blue eyes…people can’t believe that I don’t have any Irish in me and tell me I have to be.

My husband is also mostly Polish with some French.

On my mom’s side, I’m mostly Polish with a little Irish and English.

I’ve never met my biological father, but my mom thinks he’s part Italian.

@MissyR:  Awesome! My FH is definitely not blond, haha. I think it’s rare for them to be blond. He’s got brown eyes, almost black hair, and dark skin.

50% Irish and about 30% Native American and the rest is a mix of dutch english and french. I usually just say the first two. People have always asked me if I am mediterrainian or spanish and when visiting Turkey my tour guide said she “knew” I was turkish. I think its that the Native American features are really strong. Ironically I am marrying someone with a very ethnic sounding portugese/spanish last name so I am sure that’ll throw people off even more once I change my last name to his but I always find peoples guesses super interesting. My Fiance is portugese and something else but his family has no idea what. His moms side literally cant even guess they said its so mixed.

I’m about as British as they come! I think there might be some Scots in my mum’s side, because there’s a strain of red hair that runs through the family (I got the eternally white skin without the gorgeous hair!), but apart from that the whole family is solidly English!

I am full Russian, with the accent and everything! I’m so proud. However my passion for well, everything, gets a little overwhelming for my Fiance and his family. But hey, it’s all about balance right?

I’m Western Armenian and my ancestry comes from Cilicia. I can only trace my family tree back to three generations, but my ancestors lived on the Mediterranean coast where there were lots of invasions and such so I wouldn’t be surprised if I had other ancestry. Hardly anyone guesses I’m Armenian and I live in a highly Armenian populated area. I think it’s my white girl accent. Throws people off lol.
