Cute. Is everyone on board with glue on eyelashes though? Personally they annoy the crap out of my eyes.

IMO it’s just another bite at the weddingl industry but you do boo.

I’m not into false lashes… but if you and your crew are and you think these are a good quality option that everybody would love, then go for it.

Meh.  You know your friends best.  I already have a ton of make-up cases (ones that I spent good money on and like) and I don’t wear false eyelashes so the whole thing would probably end up in the garbage after you left.

I have to agree with pp. They’d go straight to the trash bypassing my bathroom entirely. Sorry. But you know your friends best.

Do they all wear false eyelashes? Do they not have makeup cases?

In general, a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t always work very well. I’d focus on what you write in the card and something that’s personal to each woman if you feel the need to give a gift. Better to contribute toward dresses or something else.

I don’t mind the boxes, but I’m not sure why they would put false eyelashes in them…..

Also a no from me. I don’t ever put on falses lashes. Also, my skin is very sensitive and fungal acne prone so I can’t use any face mask without checking the ingredients first (I know, most aren’t as crazy as me). I think you should spend your money on something more individualized per bridesmaid. For instance, my best friend’s hair overproduces oil so I got her dry shampoo. Another friend is a dog groomer and loves dogs so I got her a custom dog pillow of her dog.

Those look really cheap. I wear lashes semi-regularly and I wouldn’t wear those. They look not that well made and might irritate people’s eyes.

I think it’s a cute idea if they all wear falsies but I’d personally rather receive something I could keep forever as a keepsake.

Also keep in mind that even if they do wear falsies, they might not like that particular set. I’d prefer a Starbucks gift card or something,

I only rarely wear false eyelashes, but only do individuals, am particular on the brand, and would not want someone else to pick them out for me. Not everyone is going to like the same thing or like them at all. The quote “You’re a gem” implies jewelry of some kind to me, so the falsies also seem a bit incongruent.

That all said, I don’t think a  “proposal” or gift is at all necessary.

I’m so happy that we were married before bridesmaids proposals were a “thing”.

Selfish, maybe… But, at that time, I wanted to be the only one proposed to.
