I love everything about it! It’s the perfect size stone, I love the color gold, love the pear shape and the bezel gives the solitaire a little bit of edginess. Gorgeous ring

The stone shape & cut isn’t for me, I prefer round or square stones (to me they are more symmetrical), and I’m not a fan of a ‘splintery’ facet look. I do like bezel settings, and the ring suits this person’s hand well.

Love it. The only thing I’d change is the size, it’s too big for my personal taste, but that’s totally subjective.

It’s pretty but not something I would wear (not my style at all).

I might wear that as a rhr if it were a little smaller (just not my personal style). But I think it’s beautiful and could be considered simple elegance!

I love it! Its a little modern and a little classic. Very beautiful and elegant! And you could add a nice eternity wedding band with it for extra sparkle. Beautiful!

I like the stone size/shape and the bezel, but I wish the band were round or knife edge. The blocky band doesn’t do it for me.

baileybagels :  this ring is really visually appealing. the clean lines, the rounded band, the stone sitting flush with the bezel setting—it is almost my idea of perfection. the stone and the setting work together cohesively to make an elegant, yet unique ring. LOVE.

baileybagels :  Absolutely beautiful, elegant, and timeless while also being modern. I mean, just look at it, a classic ring like that is never going to go out of style. The pear shape and the bezel makes it unique and stand out among the plethora of round cut diamonds.

I also love the size of the pear, which is really complemented by the setting. I also think a smaller size would look just as gorgeous in that or a similar classic setting, but if the size of the stone were smaller I’d recommend a daintier setting/thinner band. This setting you posted works perfectly with that size stone in the photo.

I LOVE IT! I love the bezel setting, the thickness of the band, the simplicity of it, the stone, the color of the gold. It’s a beautiful ring! I would love to know where it’s from.

It’s too big for my taste and I’m also not a huge bezel fan. For bezel I’d add milgrain and go for a smaller stone.

Have your gone to a store and tried in rings in person? At the start of our timeline, FH (then my bf) sent me out with my sister and friend to try on rings at the jewler where my sister got her ering. We had a blast and I was really able to narrow down my shape, carat, and metal preference after seeing rings on my hand.
