My SO wanted a fall wedding (late Sept, or October) due to the colors and cooler weather.

We ended up doing engagement photos then, and are having an early summer wedding, which has our flowers in season, not super humid, out of the rainy season, and mosquitoes aren’t too bad yet. It also just worked better for our life plans.

We’d love a fall wedding for sure, but we don’t necessarily want to pay for one! Because it’ll be indoors, we could really do January or February, but we may also just not want to wait that long. We aren’t going to do a honeymoon to save money but we really want a kitten, so we’ve been calling our first week at home with a new kitten our “kittymoon.”

I always wanted a winter wedding & we are having one! We are cold weather people.

We are taking 3-4 weeks off and traveling for our honeymoon. We know we are going to Jackson Hole to ski immediately after the wedding and Iceland is another must-go during that time. My parents also got married in the winter and honeymooned in Iceland. Other than that, FH is still active duty so we are going to try and get on space available flights and just go wherever!

courtney487 :  haha wedding date IS 6-6-2020!! And we have close family members that are teachers that we were trying to be considerate of.

I’m not too worried about the very beginning of hurricane season, since if there is storms, we will know with enough advance not to go.

Early fall was my ideal wedding time and we married on September 27th… it was PERFECT!! We live in Chicago, and it was 60 degrees on my wedding day. Not cold, not hot… just beautiful. 😍

The boyfriend and I have discussed it and we’ll probably get married in the fall, which seems to be more and more popular. He can’t do heat, and I want an outdoor ceremony, so it makes sense. I kind of want a long engagement, so we’ll probably stick to fall no matter when we end up getting engaged.

I’d love Autumn due to hayfever/bronchial issues in Spring, Summer and Winter! But fiance and I are getting married in the UK so, ya know, rain. Let’s see. laughing
