I personally don’t like halos, split shanks, step cuts or baguettes & invisible set (quad) rings

But to each their own!

I’m not a fan of the type of rings that are chunky and come together and make a bigger ring.

@happyface:  ahhh I LOVE tiny bands with larger stones! The thinner the band, the better IMO!

I don’t like too much bling. I like traditional yellow gold solitaires and plain straight yellow gold wedding bands. More bling than that is just too much!

My least favorite rings are bezel set, cluster and floating/tension settings. Nothing against those who have thos, of course, I just prefer other styles much more. I’m sure there are people out there who hate cushion cut milgrained pave rings like mine! Oh well, can’t make everyone happy. And I used to really dislike marquis cuts but now for some reason they are growing on me. Oh and PEAR shaped! A switch flipped in me when I saw this and I am in LOVE!!

Princess cut and bezel set rings, it just looks hideous on me. But other kinds of rings fits my finger well ๐Ÿ˜€

I didn’t used to be a fan of fancy shapes like hearts and pears…but now that I’m on the Bee I’ve seen some really lovely and tasteful ones.

So ya…now I just say to each their own!

I don’t like yellow gold or marquise cut or quad set.

I do love hearts though. So romantic and beautiful!

I really don’t like really chunky blingy cluster rings on anyone. For myself, I wouldn’t want a modern RB or princess cut because I find them a little soulless.

I don’t hate any of them at all in any way and I mean this respectfully, not to offend anyone, I am not a huge fan of marquise cut engagement rings. They are beautiful because they are diamonds, but I don’t love them. I do like the pear/tear drop, though so I don’t know how to explain that one since they are rather similar!

I don’t think I have a leastfavorite…..although I’m not keen on busy rings.  Or as someone mentioned above whethere accents are so busy it takes away from the centre stone.

I’m not a fan of halos or princesses… and I go back and forth on side stones/pave/bezel settings.

Funnily enough, I found out that Fiance isn’t a fan either today! I’ve been half-joking for awhile about an e-ring upgrade (I have a .30ct solitaire in 18k white gold) and we looked in a jeweler’s window while we were out today. I pointed out a princess cut set which he immediately said he hated because it was “too bulky” and I pointed out a halo, and when I explained why it was called that, he said “you don’t need a halo, I have one!” haha… Looks like if I do ever get an upgrade, it’ll be a larger version o what I have now ๐Ÿ™‚

Edited because I forgot how to put together a sentence… lol

I find pears pretty to look at, but wouldn’t want to look at one forever.

Also black diamonds. Just not my thing.

I love so many of the rings on here, but I have a strong preference for thinner bands and smaller stones. I don’t wear much jewelry and while I want my ring to feel special and make a statement, I don’t want it to feel like “statement jewelry” on my finger.

I have a princess solitaire….and I used to HATE both princess cuts and solitaires…haha.I hated princess cuts because for a while it seemed like that was what everyone around me got and I hated solitaires because I thought they were boring….

My DH loves princess cuts and I really wanted him to love my ring too….Also, I found that the solitaire was the easy way to go if I wanted a funky but pretty band…But I had to go through, and I have owned several rings to finally come to that conclusion!! We just upgraded to a princess cut celebration diamond and I LOVE IT ๐Ÿ™‚
