truthah:  “Not interested in rings at all. “Waiting” frustrates me –…

I’m mostly just here for the juicy gossip…”

Me too!

And the polls! I love polls!

oh, forgot to add: I like the Re-caps like sooooo much. When you see a bee from comments or threafs finally in her pics and I usually somehow very touched and excited to see how things turned out.

And dresses. Yes, also of interest.

My favorite are dress posts. I love looking at everyone’s dresses!

Least favorite is TTC and parenting posts, not because that stuff isn’t cool to post, just because I don’t want kids.

Least: Anything TTC (not relevant to me yet)

– Show me your ring threads (They were great when I first came on but they get tired pretty quickly)

– Dress Regret (very over it)

– My ring is small, someone made fun of my ring, do you like my ring and no one like my ring posts (very very over them) lol

– Waiting (I avoid those like the plague but I thank God I never did this before getting engaged)

Most: Religion based threads, drama threads, anything house related (DIY’s etc), anything clothing shoe or purse related, also advice threads

On second thought I wish we could filter the first page by topics you want to see and def dont want to see.

Favorites: ring threads, recaps, and lots of drama

No thanks: “ugh I HATE my ring should I ask for a new one???”, is my pee stick positive?, anything DSS related

Love bridesmaids and etiquette for the drama. And I could look at photos all day so decor is great too, and dresses.

Least favourite is rings – my proposal was a surprise and I’ll never upgrade so just not something I know anything about or can get worked up about. Not interest in babies yet so never read anything to do with kids either.

Favourites: Hair and beauty, pets, emotional (these are hit and miss, sometimes I really feel for the people, the others are just plain ridick), dresses, decor, the TTC threads.

Least favourites: Ring shrinkage threads!!! I like seeing other people’s rings though! I also feel awkward reading the threads made by virgins wondering about how things work.

Favourites: Dresses, people asking for planning advice, ring threads, drama (Mainly because I have a ton of my own and feel better when I know other people do too- misery loves company :p )

Least: Anything that has to do with ‘will this diamond be big enough?’ or people complaining that their rings aren’t big enough…. sorry. Your engagement doesn’t have to do with the ring you got, it’s the person who gave it to you… Also pregnancy threads- but only because I’m not there yet!

Rings – I’m only into the ring threads if they are pretty unique (and I don’t mean my halo has a different stone, I mean really, really unique b/c they’re interesting to look at).  I really don’t care about ring/nail threads – probably b/c I don’t give a crap about my own nails.

Waiting – I won’t even read those b/c as someone who waited an excessively long time, I hate all the advice to dump people (even though at least half the time it’s right).  I know if I’d found this board then, people would have told me to leave my now-husband and that’s bad advice.

Etiquette is one I enjoy in part, b/c I love reading the drama (sorry, I’m a jerk).  But at the same time, I don’t like when people pile on rudely, so it all depends.

Best is when people want advice about their actual event – it’s fun to think of suggestions.  unfortunately I think a lot of the time these threads go mostly unanswered, which I find sad – seems like it’s the main point of the bee and no one really gravitates toward it.  Example:  28 responses to a kitty litter thread, 79 about doing laundry, 6 to a “should I wear a red sash” thread and 6 for ideas on where to hold a ceremony.  All of those threads are sort of dead now.

Also polls.  Love me some polls for some reason.

Favourite: any thread that seems dramatic tbh, Not Wedding Related topics, DIY, oh and wedding recaps

Least favourite:

– waiting – I never even thought about going on a wedding blog prior to getting engaged, so I just don’t understand the concept of this topic. Also, of the few I’ve read it is painfully obvious 90% of these men do NOT want to get married.

– ring threads – I just find this uninteresting and don’t get what you get from seeing other people’s rings apart from comparing it to yours and possibly feeling smug/envious.

– Anything baby related, solely because I’m not at that stage in my life.

– Any thread where the OP is complaining about trivial things, i.e., dress regret, rsvp’s, gift registries, brides upset that others lIves don’t revolve around their wedding etc.

ETA: oh and I HATE the threads with questions that have been asked a gazillion times already! Do a simple search either on weddingbee or Google and you will find an answer!!! It’s really that simple!!!

My favorite topic is forever 1 moissanite. My least favorite topic is when bees whine about how long it takes their bf to propose. I patiently waited a year…they can wait a few months.
