We’re using the instrumental versions of ‘Your Song’ from the Moulin Rouge 2 soundtrack. (like the second soundtrack, not some dreadful sequel)

I know that I will be walking in to this version of All of Me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dLdq5GeLwk

This talented gentleman sang this song for us during my fiance’s proposal. He let my fiance make a long, heartfelt speech in the middle of it. I get all misty when I hear this song to this day and I think his version is so beautiful. We are actually considering hiring him to play our ceremony, but we are on the fence as we have other pre-recorded songs that we’d like to use for other parts of our processional.

For my bridesmaids, I really like the Piano Guys version of A Thousand Years or You and I by Ingrid Michaelson.

Haven’t given a whole lot of thought to what parents will walk in to, though.

My bridal party is walking to Young-Holt Unlimited “Soulful Strut”. I’ll be walking to some acoustic version of “Only Fools Rush In” and everyone is leaving to Hall and Oates “You Make My Dreams”.

This thread is old but I enjoyed reading everyone’s songs!

I’m considering either Fleetwood Mac’s Songbird, or Hayley Reinhart’s cover of Can’t Help Falling in Love. Possible Florence and the Machine’s cover of You’ve got the Love for recessional.

I’m strongly considering “Only Time” by Enya. It’s been the only song on my mind for years now. I love it.

Edit: Oops, didn’t see this was such an old thread!

I really want to walk down the aisle to some pretty instrumental version of Moonlight Densetsu – yknow, the Sailor Moon theme. There’s just something about a miracle romance *_*

My BMs walked down to “In My Life” by The Beatles and I walked down to “I See the Light” from Tangled. All of our versions were instrumental and performed by a string trio.

Wedding Party ~ When Somebody Loves You Back by Teddy Pendergrass. Bride ~ Just The Way You Are by Billy Joel. Fiance wants his own song but no idea what he has in mind and I’m ok being surprised. Its his day too. 😉 First Dance ~ Sunday Morning by Maroon 5, if we have a first dance.

NovemBride1415 :  Our first dance was “You and I” 🙂

My dad and I walked down the aisle to a string quartet version of The Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights”; my husband and I recessesed to another string quartet song, a version of “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

I know I’m walking down to a piano version of Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars! I love it, makes me tear up listening to it.
